Can i reach 1/2/3/4 with any routine?
bump
presumably it would need to be one which at the very least actually included the 4 lifts
btfo
i think that shark is dead due
nope, it would only need to include the squat and the bench press. get strong enough on those two and you can easily do the other two.
>goat
>prey
goats are some of the toughest motherfuckers in the wild and can easily kill a human by buttkicking your jaw in a speed of light
cope
Tourist here. What is 1/2/3/4?
4 pl8 deadlift with no grip strength sounds like a bad idea.
A kind if milestone in a lifter's journey. The number of 45lb plates on each side of the bar (which weighs 45lbs). All are solid numbers for most early intermediates, especially compared to the general population, but not crazy strong unless you're a woman.
135lb overhead press
225 bench press
315 squat
405 deadlift
1/2/3/4
2/3/4/5 is 225/315/405/495
Water animals dont count
Top down pyramid sets (1 rep, 2 reps, 3 reps, 4 reps) of PPL: bodyweight Pull up, Push up, Long squat (squat then straight jump).
Thank
I was guessing it was n×bodyweight for the big 4 but that don't make much sense
>pic related
Not with a completely retarded one, e.g. doing one set of push ups on Monday and jogging on Thursday. So long as you have enough volume and work out intensely most routines will get you there though.
It would be more efficient, but its not needed
>n×bodyweight for the big 4
That would be very advanced, 1/2/3/4 is just an early intermediate goal for an average sized male
of course they count
Shouldn't it be "Predator"?
Seems extremely disproportionate. I just don't see how somebody who can deadlift 400 can only press 135? I can press 60 right now but my dl and squat are way lower than that, and I'm doing SS as well so it's not like I'm neglecting legs.
THE COPE LMAO
Not ANY, ideally one would include the 4 lifts and have some periodization and structure.
Also my high school gym teacher used 1.5/2/3/7/20/50
Said if you could do all of them then you would be in better shape than almost anyone you ever meet.
1.5 x bodyweight bench
2x bodyweight squat
3x bodyweight deadlift
7 minute mile
20 pullups
50pushups
He used to bike 25-30 miles to school almost every morning.
In my experience and that of many others' I've seen a, OHP is usually the first of the four most people reach but also the first to stall. Before long you really have to work for every +5lbs while other lifts continue to progress in a much more linear way.
got close to 2 plate OHP, 3 plate+ bench, 4 plate deadlift (barely) but squat is shit without any routine but i did do the lifts and mostly did low reps with as much weight as i could, but its genetics
>I can press 60 right now but my dl and squat are way lower than that,
If you press more than you dl/squat something is very very wrong
for me the problem is that OHP puts a lot of tension in my neck and traps, which I have trouble with because of my desk job.
the worst predators are the once that dont look like a predator.
thx mossad
What's the name of the man with the neck tattoo?
I can add 10-15lbs on squats and DL per workout and struggle to add 5lbs on the press, but I'm also 6'4" so I guess my proportions are quite a bit different
Stretch at work and move your shoulders even on rest days so you have optimal ROM
I am not sure what you mean, but if you want the hunter eyes you should try >mewing
Wrong
Everyone can make it to humanity
you can't lift as much on the press as on the dl/squat
You can't pick 60lbs up, but you can press 60lbs???
That's his brother
sean o sperg is truly superior lifeform desu
They're like fucking twins
Guy is severely malnourished from eating doritos and drinking mountain dew, if he gained weight and muscle, got a tan and decent hair on face/head he'd be alright
Nothing can fix that subhuman eye area
I think he looks cool.
This is a very well balanced standard actually.
Saved.
Exactly, I was wondering how on earth would the opposite work
>300lb bench
>400lb squat
>600lb deadlift
>7 minute mile
>20 pullups
fukken lamo. dont take advice from some idiot
Just learn PUA.
>7 minute mile
