Ohp 1 plate for 12 reps

That’s a lot of reps will log pressing help my ohp I started incorporating pressing logs for low reps high volume and it’s tough as shit

Your shoulders are pretty good for natty. 1pl8 ohp for reps is good. Maybe switch it up with db shoulder press

They’re already pretty good for a natty, you’ll never get fully rounded boulders natty

Based on that post, you need to work on

periodization

your shoulders need work yes, but the main thing you need to work on is your lats, boy. goddamn, talk about no wings

lateral raises

start eating food

Underrated joke.

188 cm 96 kgs i can ohp 1 plate for 7-8 reps and I look worse than you on shoulders. Enjoy.

Dumbbell press with arms winged out

Please cut

bro why are your meat hooks so massive

>fell for the strength meme

I can do like 5 reps of chin ups with 90 lbs attached I’m not flexing my mats

i think it may be partly genetics. you can however make them beefier by hitting all three groups. I can't hit the lateral group very well bc of my weakass shoulder joints, but i do things like rows and OHP for the posterior and anterior groups

I always assumed ohp hit all three hits adequately at full extension so I never really directly hit the lateral and the rear delt

i think strict form is primarily the anterior delts, but i haven't seen the science. I suppose it has to do with whatever youre doing with your shoulders at full extension

Arnold Press and superset that shit with lateral raises

imagine training for strength

Strict form hits all three heads of the shoulder. Overdevelopment of the anterior head from ohp means your shoulders are being rounded forward and up as you press, most particularly when the bar is nearly all the way up.
Pressing with your shoulders in a neutral position will work all three heads pretty evenly throughout the movement.

No shit, look at all that body fat

How to press with shoulders in neutral position I make sure my lats and upper back are tight and retracted before I press

>Strict form hits all three heads of the shoulder.
All the EMG data disagrees with you. Pressing does little for the side delt and nothing for the rear delt. OHP, lateral raises and face pulls is the minimum required.

I’m confused now does ohp hit three heads or not

wtf.

Why does this dude look so small when he can ohp 1pl8!?

He has a lot of body fat, this is why it’s important to do some form of cardio with strength training

1 plate is basically nothing

1 plate OHP is the easiest of the big 4 imo. Also easy to cheat reps

2 things to note here:

I got 40 cm biceps, 42 cm calves and 62 cm quads

I did very little hypertrophy or cardio other than 5/3/1

Check my instagram @vladut.ng for my other lifts

Most people can’t press one plate it’s not nothing it’s a good milestone

You look better in motion

Also what's up with all the memelifts and squats, that isn't gonna help with aesthetics..

Thank you. Not training for aesthetics but I did start a fasting cycle to cut down to 95 kgs from 98 because I was feeling heavy af.

>banded face pulls
EMG studies shows it's fantastic for rear delt and rivals lateral raises for middle delts. Get stronger, and do sets with 20 seconds rest.
>fix traps

I was told there would be shoulders once I reach 1pl8 OHP. Fuuuck.
Why bother with OHP press when it gets you nothing?

Where are your traps at? Why is your neck so skinny?

The perspective is from my gut. They're there.

press 1 plate for more reps. then press more weight for more reps. either way, get stronger:)

it's all about laterals m8

Fuck how many more reps I gotta press people who press less weight for less reps have rounder looking prominent delts for some reason I though strength = size
