I'd say she's about 26bmi (apparently she's normal in comparison to most people in this fat country), but I want her to be thiner.
Will she improve if I make her eat less and take her to dancing lessons?

your best bet is having a serious talk with her, explain to her that you have noticed she has gaiend weight and you are worried about your future together (her health, impact on future activities / adventures, etc.) .
tell her you love her and support her, than get her started on the basics and encourage her progress. she either gets into it and gets Jow Forums, or at least fitter, or she stops giving a shit. at this point, you do too, and continue as usual, or dump her.
if she is an adult she will listen to your concerns and might even decide to better herself. or she might implode and dump you, but either way problem's solved.

Not OP, but I did all of this and even went so far as to start a cut, even though I strictly didn't need it (14% bf), just so we could do it together.
I eat around 1200-1500 calories a day and I'm losing around 1-1.5 lb a week, while she stays at the exact same weight.
We're about the same height, she's got around 20 lbs on me, and we're eating the same dinner.
She MUST be snacking on the side, right?
There's NO way she isn't losing at least 0.5 lb a week on 1500 calories a day (she works an active job as well).
Meanwhile, she's being all self-righteous and shit, going: "I told you I have a slower metabolism than you, it's so unfair how you can lose weight so easily..."

My Mrs was getting a tad flabby and she noticed and kept going on about it. I'm pretty fit, I do alot of mountainbiking and weights...I just pretty much snapped one day at her complaining and cut her off and said something like;
"Well!? What the fuck are you gonna do about it? All you do is talk about it! You've gotta either eat less, excersise or do fucking both. You gotta put the work in, YOU gotta want it"
So, after that she has actually cut out breakfast, has a healthy lunch and dinner now and does alot more jogging and excersise biking. She's getting shit back on track.

if you're a similar aged male you are probably both taller than her and have more lean body mass. Her TDEE is obviously going to be lower.

Her TDEE would be around 2100 calories according to tdeecalculator.net, whereas mine would be 2500.
Sure, I'd lose weight twice as fast (500 calorie deficit vs. 1000 calorie deficit), but it just doesn't make sense that she isn't losing any weight whatsoever.
It's because fitness is a zero sum game. Someone has to get fat for you to get juicy as fuaark.
