I've been counting for the past few months an I was in your shoes a few years ago until I found the method that works for me. Get the MyFitnessPal phone app, it helps a lot.

You can bulk fatty meats if you want pure mass but I'm avoiding that.
Also if you have a soda/sweet tooth problem I found that Wrights drink mixes on amazon cured me of that. They are cheap but loaded with aspartame.

It totaled 171g protein. I ate about 25g of carbs all day and very little fat as well. Supplementing potassium, magnesium, calcium, and eating salt on everything. 2 gallons of water per day minimum. Taking a multivitamin and eating as much vegetables as I can get my hands on. Gonna make it
for me, i eat 16 oz of greek yogurt and a scoop of whey in the morning and then anything i want for the rest of the day.
24g of protein a scoop. I don't drink or go out much so I have enough money for protein powder. $60 every 2 months or so

Lean body mass, dipshit. So you take your total weight, multiply your bodyfat percentage by your total weight to find how many pounds of fat you have on you, subtract that number from the total weight.
TOTAL LEAN MASS, not how many pounds of muscle, how much you weigh, minus your fat, because obviously it doesn't need protein, it's fat.
