the pursuit of gains

I don't.

I cant find a job user, I have to cancel my gym membership tomorrow this is serious

go in the morning

No need to motivate, I do it every Monday anyway. I know after stretches and a few warm up sets I'll be itching for more lifts so I just do it.

Just do the damn thing, user

I eat lunch at my desk and go to the gym for an hour during the day. It gives me a break and helps me stay focused for the remainder of the work day

This

Just like start doing it then when you're warmed up, go hard.

I usually take an afternoon nap on Mondays to make sure I'm energized enough to make it to the gym.

what kind of shit job do you work

I think about all the clients that pissed me off and how every leg extension I’m doing is practice for how hard I’m going to kick them in the teeth.

I lift in the morning

Its actually developed into a pretty comfy routine
>6am wake up
>Breakfast with coffee, drink pre-workout shake (banana & cittruline), don't shower
>At the gym by 7 dressed in gym clothes
>Workout, typically lasts an hour
>Hit the sauna and take a cold shower
>Dress into work clothes
>At work on time

I have a really physical job, I never know how to work my workouts into my schedule. You'd think doing a physical job would keep you fit, but it really doesn't. Always tired, never making progress. It's a struggle.

same, It feels good going through the day knowing you're already ahead of the game. Plus that sweet pump.

Work at a gym.

>work

going in the morning is based but it's so fucking hard to make it work socially because you need to go to bed earlier, also the discipline required is through the roof

How do I stop myself from lifting too much?

I said I would so I do. I do 10 hour shifts on a chainsaw, I guarantee I'm more exhausted than you. You can do it fren

I think about my responsibility to the coming 4th Reich.

Your desire to be fit must transcend any dumbass excuse you come up with on a daily basis.

based and 14 pilled

I only lift tuesday, thursday and saturday so I don't. I do force myself to do cardio before work though. Just have a vision in your head of what you want and consistently do these things and you will achieve it after enough time and discipline. I also enjoy exercise and it makes me feel good so it doesn't really take much motivation for me.

This! We must train hard to stop it from ever forming.

Lol, no. The western world died in 1945... it shall rise from its ashes with Hitler's Revenge. The holocaust never happened, but it should've and it will... and it will be MUCH higher than 6 million. And for that, you need to have the body of Adonis.

I don't
My job is so mind-numbingly boring that lifting is my day's highlight

imagine being radicalized over the internet by 14 year olds. Big yikes.

>yikes
not him but go back to tumblr tranny

go to church and lift for yahweh.

What day it is doesn't really matter to me

Have a routine. For me, I workout at home because I have all I need which is basic stuff like a bar, few weights, bench, and dumbbells.
Going to the gym 6 days a week would be way harder for me.

I'm on a ABCx repeat workout schedule, and now I know I just have to workout on those days or else I'm not on track. It's been about 2 months on that and I've stopped really thinking about it I just know I have to do it.

cringe and incelpilled

You just go. I took a 3 hour nap and am heading to the gym in ten minutes. Do you want to be a fucking fatty? No so go lift some goddamn weights

If my Dad can do it in his 50's and his husband can do it in his 60's then you can do it too. You gonna let yourself get shown up by a couple of old faggots?

based

I tried today. It sucked. The squats were fine. Tried to OHP and sucked ass. Got tired. low energy. Did two sets of curls and just left. 30 minutes. Fuck today.

Well, it was better than nothing.

DISCIPLINE not MOTIVATION

You don't have to want to go in order to go. You simply need to go.

I’m fucking miserable at my office job and will be miserable at any other job like it where I have a boss, bodybuilding is the way out. It’s either lift like a madman or become an hero in a couple years

A soul crushing 9-5 desk job that I hate, but I went to school for four years and I gotta pay off those student loans somehow.

you just do it faggot

You look forward to it.

There is no easy way to say this, but if you don't enjoy working out, it will become a chore. When it becomes a chore, you dont chase it with that same... ferver. You have to desperately WANT to be at that gym, or under that bar, or on that treadmill. Not for "one more month", or "until I get the body I want, but because chasing that goal is almost as sweet as achieving it.

Now, of course, you'll have bad days. You WILL have days where it is a chore, and it will be a relief to hit the hay afterward, but when those days are the minority, and the gym is filled with points in time where you truly felt POWERFUL and happy, those bad days will become less and less frequent.

You hold back every day user, let the time you spend at the gym not be torture for your diet or your past, let it be a testament to what you can achieve, more of celebration of what you are capable of.

Hang in there, you can make it.
