Great progress and you have a nice frame. Keep doing more of the same brother

why do people put the current pic on top or the left?

current pic should be at the right or bottom because it's further down the timeline

Keep doing what you are doing
actually on this bf% you can go more aggressive on your deficit as a kickstarter
google Lyle MacDonald but don't take it too far

Thanks man, will do. Hoping 195 has me looking pretty lean but it seems like itd always 10 or 15lbs more than you assume.

I've been in the ball park of 1400-1700/day and was so god damn fat haven't had much of any muscle loss yet, might do that. Where do you put my bf? 19-20%?

Bump for my aspiring fat bros

I would say more than 20%
mirin forearms btw

Damn I have a long ways to go then. Thanks, heavy hammer curls are all you gotta do. I do them seated with a back rest and bring the top of the DB up and touch it on my chest/ front delt where the full contraction is. Most guys only move their arm 90 degrees when they do them and I think that's the problem. My forearms fell like they're gonna break outta my skin after a set of hammers.

Posted in a dead thread last week. 6 months progress. Around 205 to 175 currently. Been doing 5/3/1 bbb for a few months now. When did you switch from strength training to a more hypertrophy type of routine?

You will still gain strength on a hypertrophy routine. You'll still increase numbers even with the higher volume. Imo, you should ditch the 531 crap. Good progress btw, that muffin top is almost completely gone. I think you should work on overhead movements and focus on upper back/ shoulders.

Bump

My first year lifting
Current stats:
>165 ohp
>235 bench
>355 squat
>460 deadlift
Been a fun ride boys

Those are your numbers from one year? I dunno if I believe that

I think my start point was like 0.8/1.5/2.5/3.5, I dont really know how to prove my honesty, I ran a shit ppl for most of the year then 8 weeks greyskull lp and now 3 weeks 5/3/1. Last week I hit ohp 145x5 bench 200x6 squat 305x5 deadlift 420x4

Great progress man, keep it up. Looking strong.

Lost 70 pounds, started lifting, now down from 205 to 190 in the 2 months of lifting. 5'11"

All lifts are 5x5
>100 OHP
>165 Bench
>205 Squat
>250 DL

I want to continue eating at slight defecit til 170, but I feel like I'm still gonna have a ton of fat, especially on my face/neck

speaking of face, I only blurred it out once oops

All things considered with the huge weightloss, you aren't in a horrible spot, just largely untrained but after 6 months, you'll start to notice the body recomp coming through. Good job on the weightloss and keep it up. My personal opinion, unless you're pathetically weak, I think you'd benefit from doing 2-3 sets of 10 on most things, hitting failure on the last rep of the last last and increasing weight from there. 531/5x5 etc isn't going to get you there nearly as fast.

height?

5' 9" / 175cm

Well done so far. Went from skinny fat to having something of a respectable body. Throw some lbm on and you'll be rolling.

should have done it all 3 times.

Post face

Nice progress dude. Are those stretch marks on your stomach though?

Thanks and yeah they're on my chest too. Got them at 16 when I initially put on the muscle and was even lean at the time
Weak skin genetics, can't win em all. Doesn't bother me but you can always laser them off if you're mental midget status and lose sleep over it.

6' 135 -> ~180 or so
6+ years

My phones editing capabilities are lacking, hence the fucked up framing on the pic. Anyway late 2016 to a few weeks ago, roughly 220 pounds down to around 175

Incredible job.

Around mid-January of this year to now. I was at 215 and am currently down to 180. 5'8"

Look at the shower he is tall. They lift more. Plus he was relatively strong to begin with.

>Weak skin genetics
I feel that. Along with shitty fat distribution, ended up with tons of chest skin and some stomach stretch marks after dropping weight, although i want to drop just a few more pounds before trying to fill out with muscle. Still though, great progress.

Height? Do you have any pics after your first 4~6 months?

12 weeks
6'2
250Ate less, Moved iron, Climbed some mountains, Sweat out the summe sun
Going towards more lean mass, less body fat

Back at home with new pic, this was me at 270 for comparison

Mirin that progress

Maybe they're Jews and read right to left.
