Exercises you never see anybody else do

I actually do stuff like cross body pressing and rowing, which I've never seen anybody else do, but I feel like they are the best chest and lat exercises there are.

I recently started doing pull overs and I love them. I also love dudes

Meme ab shit like clocks and windshield wipers
Standing dumbell calf raises
Reverse barbell lunges
And unironically dips

I'm definitely the only person doing facepulls and lat raises, I go to a boomer gym though

When I had a home gym I did landmine 180. Absolute god of the core exercises my core was incredible. Look like too much of a dick doing it in a commercial gym so dropped it and now I'm on a proper program with no muckin about.

Squats below parallel.

fucking love these, but i feel like no one does them because you rub your junk on the cable

>farmers walk carrying 15lb dumbbells with thick grips for 30mins @ 4mph with varying incline (2miles)
>Unilateral cable presses
>unilateral diagonal cable extension (pictured)
>barbell hip thrusts

Face pulls with a tricep extension rope. Shoulders have been smooth as butter ever since I started doing them.

There must be a correlation

Power cleans though my form is probably horrendous

why are there so many dyel fitness models?

Less threatening to unfit idiots they peddle expensive wares to.

dumbbell pullover is the ultimate DYEL PPLcel meme lift

Based memelifter

Close grip bench press
I get some weird looks for it

Ass to grass squats
Hip thrusts

I've never seen anyone do a pendlay row. Only terrible lightweight yates rows from a rack or cable rows.

Attached: 1563933249039.jpg (570x570, 78K)

What kind of gym are you in where people think close-grip bench press is weird? A yoga studio for retarded onions boys?

Same. When I did pendlay row people watched me like I am idiot

No tough guy, just a normie gym. They think I'm trying to do a normal bench press and that my grip is too close for it

No one in my gym does OHP for some reason

ditto
weighted pullups
weighted dips
pendlay rows

i had the exact same thing happen to me but in reverse.
I was benching with my hands just inside the knurling and a PT interrupted me mid-set to tell me that I wasn't doing a proper close grip bench because my hands were supposed be inches apart and that the only reason I was doing it wider is because I'm an ego lifter

lmao someone once came up to me and demonstrated proper form, and of course he did bent over rows.... he took off a pl8 before doing so too.
>bulgarian splits
>single leg romanian deadlifts
>narrow neutral grip OHP
>bonus: qt with a 7/10 brapper that's the only one i've seen do arnold presses

Attached: xqc 15.jpg (353x333, 16K)

He actually called you an ego lifter? Christ that would piss me off.

The only horizontal back work I ever see anyone do is cable rows and bent over rows (which nobody ever gets the form right for)

Attached: back_snappers.jpg (800x800, 59K)

>pullovers
We're just two at the gym doing this.

interested in the farmers walk.

notice any benefits?

>bent over rows (which nobody ever gets the form right for)

This.
People usually do some kind of slightly bent over shrugs.

Are landmines/pullovers memes? Am trying to get my OHP to 115 but can only do 105 in reps

yeah they do call me that all the time. In that case he told me to lower my ego and to use less weight because apparently close grip benching without having your hands all the way in is an ego exercise
Also some other things like
> doing back squats
"hey ur leaning ur back too much forward"
>doing front squats
"hey your knees shouldnt travel past your toes"
>deadlifting
"stop making noise" (I dont even drop the bar)
>benching
"arching your back will break your spine"

Dumbell shrugs

Seen one guy do shrugs on a smith machine, but never with dumbells. I quite enjoy them at the end of a session, almost feels like stretching out.

thats weird, i see people doing these constantly, rudely standing infront of the rack

the pullover op posted desu. I did them when I was younger because my dad always did but stopped because I literally never see anyone do them and assumed it was an injury prone exercise not worth the benefits or something

Shoulders and grip are powered up.
Core is gaining size.

I'll judge/compare it once next series of progress pictures comes up in ~3months

~~~~~~~~~
Visually...I'll have to check in next progress pictures.
However...in strength and endurance!
I just now did 20mins of adaptive motion trainer with maximum stride length, and speed/resistance at times going up to 9.
Then walked on treadmill to "cool off". Afterwards I walked 15 minutes straight at 15(max) incline 3mph. Only stopped because I wanted treadmill workout to be 20mins as well.
That kind of stamina is......new
Now doing cleans > OHP with 110lb barbell.
>not rubbing your scrote and dick on as much equipment as possible to spread pheromones and mark territory
>not doing bb dick shrugs
>not holding plates between your legs during weighted pullups instead of getting a belt
>not scooting across the benches in the locker naked room like a snail
>making it
Faggot
Gym crush was doing rows. I was watching her little butt poke out.
doing this will give you stretch marks at your armpits and back.
Underrated
I've never seen anyone else do farmer walks. Its mad awkward because the normal path I do my farmer walks on goes past the door to the dance/yoga/pilates studio and people assume I'm going into it because I'm a femanon when really I just want to carry plates in peace
I also do these. I superset with skullcrushers and close grip press
I go to an LA fitness which might be the ultimate gym for casual gymgoers who lift the same weights for months. I've never seen someone: front squat, deadlift variation, pendlay row, or ANY pause variation. I have seen someone do power cleans, though. Also, what's with girls pushing their legs down on the fucking assisted pullups machine? FOR WHAT PURPOSE?
Deloaded exercise.
Like every 4-6 weeks i drop the weight and reps to 40-60% ...and i feel all the normal gym bros judging me hardcore.
I'm utterly DYEL and even my arms are bigger.
Your arms don't need to be inches apart to make close grip bench effective. Doing so puts a tremendous amount of shear on the elbows and wrists. You are the right one.
>Squats below parallel
>OHP
>Full ROM pullups
I'm the only one in my gym who I think has ever done a full ROM pull up
Fuckin kickers, twisters, uppercuts.
lol wtf
If anyone interrupted me mid-set for such inane bullshit I'd tell them to shut the fuck up
Wut. I go to an LA fitness and I’ve seen all those exercises. At my old gym (also LA) there were two CrossFit bros who constantly did cleans.
My current LA I see a lot of people deadlifting and there’s a makeshift space for it, and there’s always people squatting (incl front and below parallel).
Lots of normies pushing the same weight for meme exercises and doing meme circuits but also a lot of serious lifters. Always someone to spot or check form too. Maybe I got lucky.
>bent over rows (which nobody ever gets the form right for)
I've been attempting to do these in my pull days but I'm not sure I'm doing them correctly because I didn't feel much lat engagement the last time I did them. What are the normal mistakes people make that I should avoid?
When you deload, do you just go back to normal right after or do you start progressing from there again?
There was a guy at my uni gym who actually used to do this is all the time. He'd spent like 50% of his gym time doing this exact fucking lift for like legit an hour straight. He wasn't particularly yoked or anything, but he had some nice fucking lats and shoulders from it. In between reps, he would go over to the TVs setup to watch whatever sport was on (this was in Boston so it was usually like the Sox or something). He seemed to be pretty into them.
And then he just stopped coming to the gym and I never saw him again.
Wonder what he's doing.
>Rubbing dick off
Looks more like he might be sawing it off. One little screw up and his scrotum is gone forever. No worth the risk. Get some dumbbells do it like everything else.
Yea I see a decent number of people do heavy stuff. I do see a lot of people deadlift, but never any variations. I live in LA so maybe that has something to do with it
Windshield wipers are good their just hard
>pullovers
the reason you never see anyone do them is because they're total dog shit you weak, shit looking faggot. post body/lifts and prove me wrong.
Attached: 1503293278693.jpg (258x245, 12K)
>people watched me like I am idiot
Are you sure that's what it is? Because I think for people that aren't lifting-nerds it's probably more like they want to work out if what you are doing is something they should do.
Took flight.
he bought a barbell and now does them at his house
Absolutely based.
hanging windshield wipers or clocks are total god tier.
>tfw people at the gym come and go but you're always there
Probably felt uncomfortable having a fag like you constantly stare at him
Hang cleans
Neck stuff
