I walk 8-10k a day playing pokemon go and listening to music. I dont use the AR feature, and i dont ever stop walking to play the game. The pace of my walk come first and the game come second. I think it's a fun way to track how far i walk, and pass the time while i walk
Since instarted playing pogo, i have lost around 70 pounds. But I've also quit soda and sugar during this times, but walking and lifting have played a big role in my getting in shape
I do have to 2nd this post too. 99% of the people i see playing this game are just creeping around the park, hitting gyms and stops, while guzzling down mountain dew. Shit pisses me off. I wish they would move all stops/gyms 100 yards off the roads, so the car players would at least have to walk a little

I once went to a local gym at night with my gf because we were still out on a run as I had to work late. Got there and as I was attacking the gym a car with tinted windows pulls up. but user I'm 26. I played red when it came out and had a pokemon backpack for kindergarten. I'd make sure to get home from school as quickly as possible so I could watch the episode that started at 3. I stopped caring about the series around the switch to the gba games. even I know that's bullshit
it was a cash grab from the second the anime started and there have been great designs every gen. despite barely playing the games, some of my favorite pokemon designs come from gen 3. I do think the designs overall have gotten worse, but there are still a lot of great designs every gen
