Can bulking mess up progress in weighted chin ups due to weight gain? I am stuck doing the same weight for 2 weeks and can't seem to progress.

it can if you dont gain strength lmao

prob your way of training sucks. I bet you load up heavy and do 1-4 reps, correct?

As long as you don't dirty bulk like a moron, you should be able to put more weight on your belt week to week.

And even if you do, you'll still probably find you're able to put more weight on your belt once you've finished cutting after the bulk.

If you can use same weight, same reps with your own weight going up, aren't you actually progressing?

Nope. I do sets of 15-20. Anything under 8 reps makes you fat.

>max 6 pull ups unweighted
oof

lads I've been stalling on 30kg chins for ages, what do?

>Makes you fat
>Bulks
you're a moron, do you eat carbs too? I bet you're a shitskin.

30kg is very good, how much reps can you do?

Wait, heavy weights for 4-6 reps is bad now?

No way. Weighted I always do 8 sets of 5, feels amazing and still a lot of workload

>cant break past 40kg 3x5

>30kg is good
It's mediocre. I can do 30kg weighted pullups for 6 reps and I'm a skelly

So what muscles are predominately used for Weighted Pull ups/Chin ups/ect...

I've never really been able to do solid reps of them in my life. I think weak shoulders might be my problem.

Back and biceps mostly, to a certain extent posterior delts and traps

It's BECAUSE you are skelly, nigger. Gain some weight and then try.

That's mean. Fair though.

How do I get a strong enough back/biceps without doing these exercises then?

I'm like 195 lbs and have kinda lanky arms.

Unweighted chin ups, duh

Can you do normal pull ups/chin ups? if so just apply progressive overload and you should be progress. If you cant do them unweighted, do them with assistance bands or do negatives until you can

>unweighted chinups
>he thinks you can build strength and muscle without using weights
These are the people who give you advice on this board kek

> 50 kg manlet twink thinks his ''weighted'' chins are harder than unweighted chins of a grown man

I'm an archduke of manlets but around 5 reps, but theyre getting harder now since i'm bulking

>Manlet
I'm above 6'3
>"weighted"
Me + weight > 100kg
>twink
I guess you could say that
>grown man
Fatty cope

Well I don't and I still can pull 30kg for reps. I get that it might be an achievement for someone else but personally I don't find it all that impressive

Dips and Chin ups/Pull ups

When are you even supposed to do them in a work out?

Dips on the beginning of push day, Chin/pull on the beginning of pull day. Also buy rings to do dips on
Well at least you posted body

>Ww-well at least you p-posted b-body

what set/rep scheme do you guys do? I usually do weighted pullups 5x10, 5x8, or 5x6 with 25lb, 35lb, and 45lb respectively. I try to add a tiny bit of weight each time and so far my progress has been slow. I track my calories and have been getting enough and sleep at least 8 hours a night.

Heavy reps are fine. I do 4x4 weighted chinups twice a week and 5x15 bodyweight pullups once per week.
