Fast user back. First day of fasting complete. My thoughts

Ok, Just finished my first official day of fasting. Don't feel bad (I've felt much worse after binges desu) but don't feel best.

Libido is literally dead, and I have a massive one.

Spent the entire day watching videos of food, and people eating food. I feel like people don't really realise how much of an obsession food becomes until you loose it.

Also took sarms, and I plan to take them till I which my goal weight, which is currently around 75-80 kg, fasting.

How long do I plan to fast for? For this first fast, I plan to go as long as physically possible. Then have a 2 day re feed, then start again, essentially trying to get to my goal weight. Will post an update each day I fast, and on a re-feed day.

Forget to mention. Headaches are mild, nothing I can't handle.

Are you the user from yesterday who planned on fasting for 90 days?

I've done 36 hour increments with a 1500 calorie meal after every 36 hours. The weight melted off and I saw no noticeable strength loss. It's hard but some days are easier than others. ECA helps a lot.

No was a few weeks back. Can't imagine doing a 90 day straight pass. You would need the will of a spartan.

Headaches are caffeine withdrawal. You prob drink sips or coffee every day, second you spent your day watching food videos and people eating, so you actually mentally prepped your body to eat and gave it nothing, its known to trigger an insulin response to indulge in the idea of food.

Either way good job on fasting, currently on my scheduled 3 day fast monthly. I Do it as a lifestyle at this point.

Redpill me on fasting. How do you not lose strength and muscle from losing weight that fast? do you work out when doing it -- how do you not pass out? what about loose skin?

about 110kg at about 5'11. Tho I have been lifting for a long time and not all fat.

On my third day of fasting out of five right now to get rid of my bulk fat, so far no problems. First day is always a pain when you're still feeling hunger, but after that it's pretty much smooth sailing.

Pro tip: don't spend an entire day watching food vids whilst on a fast lmao, makes it a lot easier

The libido loss thing was interesting for me. I would look at hot girl pics and they had no effect on me. I felt like a Zen monk or something. As soon as I broke the fast I could literally feel my libido coming back.

I do a 400cal breakfast, 11hrs fast and 500cal dinner and im feeling those midday blues I used to look forward to lovely lunch

i did a 48h fasting.
nothing abnormal. i just felt like it was about to dinner time all the time.

What was your starting weight and what do you weight now? How often did you work out? You do any cardio?

240lbs down to 170. I'm at 185 now after slow bulking 200kcal/day.
I did daily body weight exercises and lots of walking (~25k steps per day).

Hour 19 of my first ever dry fast.

No food or water for 19 hours.

Actually feel OK.

Just plain water during the fast or also Snake Juice? I wanna try it out but I don't wanna pass out.

I did one extra dry fast (no contact with water) for 53h and I burnt fat like crazy. It was pretty tough not to be able to shower/brush my teeth though

fasting, just like keto, isnt a diet. its following some bullshit broscience that tricks you into eating less calories by pretending you arent actively shortening your lifespan.

Just get on a normal fucking diet, with 3-5 *SMALL* meals at a 500 calorie deficit. Space them out evenly and exercise at least 3 days a week.

I've washed my hands a couple of times. But that's it. I shower in the evenings.

How much fat did you burn?
Are you sure it wasn't just water loss?

Snake Juice all the way, no reason to exclude those electrolytes.

First of all, OP is talking about extended water fasting, not IF 16:8.

Extended fasting has a wealth of clinically established benefits.

Cycles of fasting alternated with a low-carb diet are highly effective at fixing a broken insulin response curve, normalizing cortisol, and lowering leptin setpoint.

Simple CICO is great for metabolically healthy people whose bodies will tap into the fat stores. But if you're metabolically broken or your gut is fucked up, fasting intelligently is a viable option for self-repair

I lost 3,5kgs in those 50h, gained back about 1kg of water weight
