The first thing you do is never have offspring. Take pride in knowing you won't produce a being that is burdened with this knowledge. From there... I don't know what to say, user. Life is an unimaginable horror show. A tragedy beyond comprehension.

You will be dead long before this happens, we all will. We are here for a very very short time, we come and go. Would you prefer spending this limited time sulking about something you can not change, and will not witness? Or would you rather spend this time living your life to the fullest of your abilities and making the most of it? We all come to the same end regardless, its not worth wasting any more time.

This. Reproduction is for smart people only. I would be very happy if my kids would have lower competition.

Who cares? Time is recyclable. There might be a finite amount of it, but it can be reused to an endless degree. Therefore there is infinite time and the universe never truly ends until we're tired of it and let it happen.

It will die then be reborn again as do all things.

It doesn't matter, once you know this fact you just can't believe the "just enjoy life bro" and you'll be miserable till your nightmare comes true(death)

People usually get over babbys first existential crisis in less than 3 months

I want to believe..I want to believe so bad
but i just can't

Also you don't have an explanation for this

>A tragedy beyond comprehension
Life is a comedy, my friend.

Oh I wish it was the first,it's been here since I've been capable to think

You must have a very boring and easy life.

Our universe has always been here. It is always expanding and then collapsing.
We are currently expanding and will do so until another collapse probably like 800 trillion years from now. I would assume this happens in order for the universe to evolve, like its some big cosmic organism

Every star, planet and planet in it has a death then is reborn as something else

Fuck no I don't have an explanation for it. In order to scientifically dissect a phenomenon and explain it, you have to observe it from the outside, not be part of it. I have no clue how this shit works. The universe might collapse in on itself from the big crunch and then have a big bang that results in this same exact universe again. We might be in a simulation. There might be literal gods in control of this whole thing. The details don't matter though, we're going to reuse time for all of eternity whether you like it or not. As soon as you die, you're just born again and reuse the same years you always have.

>Our universe has always been here
what about big bang then
but I hope you're right and when the big rip or whatever that causes the end of all is over another big bang happen, but I seriously doubt it

>As soon as you die, you're just born again and reuse the same years you always have.
that sounds scary but is alot better than non existence of every life form(even the unknown ones,if they exist) I hope youre right and this has had already happened to me many times

the universe has been a terribly dangerous and chaotic place before we came into existence. when it first started it was more or less an all consuming fire that spread across the entire span of the universe. it's a miracle that humanity, much less life itself was allow to come into existence at all. we could guess that at some point the universe didn't exist at all, but somehow it came to be from nothing. assuming there was a point in time, long, long ago where absolutely nothing existed. sure, the universe will undergo heat death in the very far future and entropy will leave all of space an incomprehensibly massive void of darkness, but we can guess that it was like that before as well. it's possible the universe never didn't exist and that when our universe undergoes heat death it will only be one of countless times it has already happened and that somehow the fire is ignited once more and the universe is reborn again and again forever.

if you believe the singularity then you believe infinite knowledge will be obtained at some point. if we had infinite knowledge and power, we can certainly avoid the universe ending somehow

Visit an antique shop. Those people lives those lives, with those things surrounding them. Then those things got old, and got tossed. Same with News articles and emotions about WW2.

We'll all be dead and forgotten long before and thank fuck for that.

Life is meaningless without death anyways.

Well we are not advanced enough in fundamental physics to know these answers and probably never will be before we're extinct.
But it's a theory that we will go through a "big crunch" if the universe gives in to gravity then a big boom and there you go a newborn universe. Actually really trippy shit, you can fuck your mind just thinking about it

dedicate your life to learning about all the crazy shit humans have done on this rock in our short time

There is nothing funny about unjustified suffering

The universe collapsing and expanding theory isn't popular anymore. Few physicists use that model.

Old theoretical model. Physicists now think univer

The expansion of the universe will probably eventually overcome the forces of gravity and the electromagnetic and strong nuclear forces, splitting all the matter in the universe into subatomic particles with zero probability of them ever interacting with each other ever again.

Physicists now think our universe was created when another crashed into whatever our previous one is. Soap bubble theory, dark matter, higher dimensions only observable at the plank length, etc

What makes you think it's not popular anymore, and can you tell me what the "popular" theory is now? Also keep in mind all of this is theory talk

Either one could be correct i mean i like both theorys

So what's the popular theory now?I really want to know tho

>there's no hope
Wrong. Pic related.

Yeah but eventually the universe will do an bigbang'd again(different universe tho I think)

Already explained it in another post.

Our universe is like a soap bubble in a room with other soap bubbles that could contain other universes. We believe each iteration of a universe is a new bubble being created when it collides with another or the edge of the dimensional membrane which holds the universes.

I'm only a casual and I'm sure I'm butchering it.

Because the universes expansion isn't slowing down but accelerating. I believe the math initially showed it would slow down but new math says otherwise. It can't collapse if it's going to constantly expand. Hence the soap bubbles. Infinitely expanding until heat death or crashing into another universe.

>yfw the universe will end when humanity builds a giant bomb and detonates it
>yfw this was always the plan

So a new universe could be created right now if some universe collides with ours
>until heat death
but thats the end of it all

This kind of puts it into perspective
The time scale accelerates and humans gone by the first minute and a half. The time between now and then is unfathomable

Perform your biological purpose and have kids. You'll feel fufilled.

Correct. But I'm sure it's as unlikely as life spawning so it's on a timescale we probably can't fathom.

End of it all on our bubble. Another bubble could crash into ours making a newer smaller bubble full of energy again

You're going to die before the universe ends.
Dying is the last thing you'll ever do.
You're spending your time worrying about the very last thing you can possibly do.

What an ironically retarded post.

You would feel just as insignificant if the universe was infinite. What does it change if it ends in a few billion years user?
