If you ever make it Jow Forums and marry.
Will you force your kid to join a gym?
If you ever make it Jow Forums and marry.
Will you force your kid to join a gym?
no, ill let them be a kid and have fun outside
>making it
>getting married
pick one
My dad did, so yes
I pick the second one.
Good luck.....
I just want to be happy
I'd force them to do some physical activity, just so they're not lying around the house all day doing nothing.
Of course, it's a great way to test paternity.
I will make those little cunts sweat in my homegym.
It's gonna a strong daily regiment of squats and deadlifts.
Any child that can't diddly atleast 4 pl8 by the time he/she/it reaches the age of 14 is no offspring of mine.
Same, however...
>grew up admiring stoic emotionless badasses, swore I'd never waste my time with love and marriage and do cool shit instead
>start feeling a general decrease in energy and drive a couple years ago, previously minor physical issues are causing greater discomfort, scrapes bumps and bruises take longer and longer to heal. Feel youth and vitality slip away.
>currently 30yo boomer wizard, walk by a few parks on my way to and from work and can't help but notice folks my age playing with and watching their children grow
>the world closes in a little more each and every day
Everyone is depressed today. Stop pretending that doing the same thing everyone else does is what will make you happy. Marriage is unworkable. We thought that the obsession with female virginity was a weird fetish that the ancients developed. And in our hubris, we tossed it all out.
>force
why would I need to force them? exercise is fun and getting stronger is rewarding.
>30 yo boomer wizard
please god give me the strength to get some pussy before i hit 30
I'd let them decide that for themselves, but for sure I'll never feed them sugary bullshit and McDanks
Explains why you're a manlet. Imagine forcing a kid to go to the gym
Because someone like me was afraid to make the first step.
I would get my son into sports, maybe some bodyweight stuff as he grows. Once he’s about 15 or 16, then i’ll start taking him to the gym.
Hopefully he enjoys it, I would be tremendously bummed if he didn’t like any fitness related activity.
As for a daughter, not too sure yet, i’ll probably just my wife handle her for the most part.
I was the same as you, I'm glad I snapped out of it by the time I was early 20s. I have friends from work in their late 30s no that are married, swore off kids and were always the "cool couple"; taking trips to vegas and festivals etc but now theyre aging poorly and just look like middle aged people desperately trying to cling to youth. It's kinda sad to be desu
I will definitely introduce him (implying I have a daughter) to various sports at a young age, but I won't force him to pursue all of them - I just want him to find something that he actually likes
I got fit. I got married. I have a daughter. I don't take her to the gym because she doesn't want to. However, I take her with me on my 5 am runs, no matter how cold it is outside. I started when she was ten. At first she complained, but now she likes it and is becoming better than me, which is perfectly normal since she's 16 and I'm 41. If I had a son I'd probably start taking him to the gym RN but I don't. I don't think girls need the gym. Running is sufficient.
I'm snapping out of it now. Better late than never. I'm told I don't look 30, which is nice. Most people think I'm late 20s, so I'll take what I can get.
Dude Vegas sucks ass, desert trashhole full of shitty citizens and shitty tourists, former number 1 suicide rate in US for a reason
Will never understand why boomers and hypebeasts obsess over it
Get her into a combat sport if you can.
no chance I ever get married
thats why you just marry your highschool sweetheart :)
Haha yes. I taught her the basics of Krav-maga and I bring her to the gun range sometimes. This is France, so we don't have crazy weapons or crazy people, but it's just for peace of mind. Living in a farm in the middle of nowhere, it reassures me knowing she can defend herself.
I'll teach them at home from a young age and make sure they get the best physical training if they do want to take that path.
Lifting is so good I honestly can't imagine having a kid that doesn't enjoy it if they're taught properly. I wouldn't even worry about stunting their growth if that holds water. Being strong at 14 is too much of a life hack for the rest of your life. Let alone aesthetic at 16.
My gym has kids clubs and teaches all the local school rugby clubs etc. I'd get them going there. If they see me lifting it'll encourage them too.
