holding breath

Nerve gas

>not sitting down and taking a breather after a heavy diddly

one way trip to concussion city

I do deadlift 5 reps in the 400s and don't come anywhere near to passing out. Just 1 power clean in the 200s makes me light headed and body feels completely drained right after tho.

Can someone tell me how to prevent dizziness/headache after a DL? been happening to me lately and I've only hit 275

Cardio

I had low blood pressure when I was a teenager and would borderline pass out everytime I stood up after sitting down for too long. Now I recognize the feeling when I'm about to pass out, best is to squat down immediately and you'll recover bretty fast, if you stand in up you'll almost always pass out.

last one looked like he was about to get double broken shin

Like the other poster said, cardio. But also a lot more volume at low intensities so your body gets used to deadlifting, and put a lot of work into learning to brace your core properly.

This happens usually from CNS exhaustion. Happened to me. Sometimes you pass out easily other time it feels like you've fucked your spine and you have spasm attack. Feels like cerebal palsy or something.

Also the human body is pretty shit at having your legs locked out. Actually blocks the blood flow it's why soldiers pass out on parade if they stand too stiff. Happens in the deadlift occasionally.

Hyperventilation.
If you don't control your breath then you will get light headed.
Sometimes people will get a little lightheaded before they lift so as they press/squat/pull they actually start passing out in the middle of it.
Only time I ever had it affect me is in strict pressing.

CNS exhaustion/fatigue is a myth

yep. this helps when youre deadlifting. If youre unsure whether or not youre about to pass out just take a knee after your set. Usually subsides in 2 or 3 seconds.

>you must master the Hamon to deadlift

Does it feel good being so dumb?

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_nervous_system_fatigue

Basically an extreme head rush: a rapid shift of blood amount from head to the body parts being used to move that extreme weight. You ever ate a lot of food and got Food-Coma/The-Itis? That's because a majority of your blood shifts to your GI system to digest the food and the less amount of blood from your brain puts it in a lower metabolic state which makes you tired.

If you wanna prevent this, you gotta up your cardio and do proper warm-up exercisea before your serious reps. Also, the SECOND you feel light headed YOU TAKE A FUCKING KNEE. Don't just stand there like a wannabe tough cunt that can stave it off through sheer will power. It's safer and better to immediately take a knee the second you feel light-headed. If you faint, then your head will fall forward like a foot towards the ground (hopefully). A lot safer than falling backwards from a standing position: most of the guys in the webm slammed their heads/necks on something which could have caused a TBI or serious neck injury that could lead to paralysis and/or worse.

He deserves it for hyperextending his knees.
If you don't hyperextend, your knees should collapse forward when you go limp. Did it to himself.

I bet you also think jews are good people and that "trans" exists

would you like to explain why cns exhaustion is a myth even though it explains the op or are you just going to rave about da jooz like a 13 yr old pol fag?

He did.

YOU DIDNT PREPARE ME FOR THIS

Do you have the source?

you can literally see them snapping

His knees collapsed backwards because he fell against the wall you dumb nigger

probably from the fucking rapid change in blood pressure they're undergoing

While holding the weight every muscle in their body is squeezing at max capacity

When they drop it all those muscles suddenly relax decreasing pressure on the veins/arteries causing a transient stoppage in blood flow shutting down the brain

Ii'm not doubting you, i just wanted to kow the whole thing, sorry.

back to your containment board

AAAAAAH WTF IT JUST SNUCK IN THERE AT THE END! JUST SOMR PEOPLE PASSING OUT FROM DEADS AND THEN BAM SOME GUY SPLINTERING HIS LEGS WITH 500 LBS

you are such a DYEL it’s embarrassing how set you are in your views

Jow Forumsposting off board should be a permaban. Theyre worse than bronies at this point no board is safe and they insist on calling everyone newfags despite being from reddit and worshipping reddit the president

Jow Forums is anti-trump

>can deadlift no problem
>Get light-headed with shrugs

What's going on here

I believe the fainting is mainly caused by the valsava maneuver. When people use the valsava maneuver they happend a sudden rise in blood pressure, but after a few seconds their blood pressure drops and causes the person to faint. It happened to me once during deadlifts when I was grinding the lockout for >5 seconds.
