Get some good music (whatever you like really, I prefer something chill like that lo-fi hip hop stuff but anything that makes you feel cozy) a good setting (indoors or outdoors, somewhere with plenty of supplies so you don't need to go nowhere unless you want) and if you can, good company (someone you trust to tripsit maybe)
Good music + good setting + good company = good times.
Even if it's bad times and you get knocked for a loop, remember you will recover and you'll be back to flavortown soon.

Also remember, if you're not 100% feelin it, it's ok to put it down and do it another day when you are. Forcing it when it don't feel right increases chance of bad times.

do it! every time ive done acid its been alone, and ive always had positive results. if im in a funk, or depressive episode like it sounds like you are, i always find some fresh new perspective. just put on some good music and youll be alright, your mood will improve anyways as your brain gets dumped with serotonin.

make sure you are comfy and not stressing or youll have a bad trip. it takes a while to kick in so do something in the meantime. i recommend looking at your phone because the way it moves is just endless amusement. pic related is my phone background which moves a lot on acid, recommend taking a look once you get going. only take one by the way

if you live in a city with public transit, take both of the tabs then get on the train or whatever and go to the district where there are lots of bars, etc. get into an adventure.
obviously, you should do this when you dont have work or school the next day. i dont know why anyone would want to take one hit of acid. i didnt even take one hit my very first time. you're probably setting yourself up for a lame trip if you do that, man. just take them both. .
