If you were to choose random anons and drop them in a forest im sure we would be fine. For example, in a survival situation I would be useful in kickstarting everyone to the industrial age and the setup of forges, charcoal kilns, blacksmithing shops, underground mines, railway tracks, gemstone luxury goods, alcohol, and beekeeping. In which old mines could also be repurposed and made into naturally air conditioned homes or food storage areas capable of keeping rodents out. It only takes half a brain cell to kill animals for food and everyone is capable of doing it if they are desperate enough. Farming and irrigation systems are a different story altogether though.

Doesnt matter if society falls far enough everyone will die in the Northern hemisphere at the very least. Nuclear plants will kill everything. People are correct in assuming reactors will shut down stopping a complete meltdown. The active and spent rods do not just fucking shut off and must constantly be cooled with water. When the plant shut downs it must then get power from the grid or back up diesel generators both of which will fail. The rods will then overheat and blow poisoning the air. After that they will leak nuclear waste everywhere and eat through their containment pools. Nuclear plants need water so are always near rivers or large bodies of water. All that waste will go into that water completely killing everything and toxifying the coastlines which will be picked up by weather systems and dumped back onto the mainland repeatedly. There is no post apocalyptic survival like the walking dead or in the stand. Civilization falls you die, i dont care how deep you go in the woods you aee fucked. Only way to survive is live in a well stocked bunker until the dat you die.
