I have only been lifting for around 4 months, but I have made major progress. I couldn't curl 20lb dumbells for even 10 whole reps at the start, but now I can do 40 lb. Obviously my physique is not the best and I have a long way to go. Past week I have been recovering from oral surgery, and I haven't been allowed to exercise. It was really hard doing this since I live on my own and watching anime and playing vidya is my only hobby besides lifting now. But reading the sticky and browsing here has helped me a lot. So thanks to you amazing faggots (no homo) I am satisfied and well on my way to improve myself. Thanks for indirectly helping a low IQ weeb retard like me.

I don't deadlift often, I get really scared and pussy out a lot. Last time I deadlifted was around that much, but I haven't done any deadlifts in over a month.

I wish I focused on lifting and was consistent sooner. Now that you're older, gains come so much slower because you have to focus so much on avoiding injury. Like, whenever you feel any non-muscle discomfort, it's time to stop and reevaluate form. Not to mention all the effort you have to put into mobility drills and posture-fixing exercises
Getting old sucks, but at least my lifts are far stronger than they ever were as a teenager. Apparently learning proper form, eating well, resting well, fixing posture, and being consistent all go a long way for breaking plateaus.
How old are you brah? Just turned 20 and this has motivated me to stop fucking around and start bulking again
Not him, but i'm 28 and all can i say is that your strenght will go up until your early 30s, just focus on doing things right and you get there, don't rush if is not safe.
