It's pretty dull, I just browse the internet aimlessly for days hoping I stumble on something interesting. I'd be lying to myself if I said I were happy but still I haven't got any major complaints so I guess it's fine
I've been in a similar situation. During the day I'm desperately searching for something to do that I find interesting but typically have trouble finding anything.

Well for the longest time I lived with hope, knowing that once I got old enough I could get corrective surgery for it. Now the surgery has come and gone, and my physical therapy doesn't seem to be working. I got jaw replacement surgery for a measly 3-4mm improvement it seems, unless things change. Up until more recently there was always hope that it would get better, but now that hope is quickly fading as I don't feel like I'm making any progress. I've consigned myself to hoping for the best and remaining somewhat optimistic, but knowing that things might not get any better, and it is what it is. It wouldn't bother me so much if I wasn't trying so hard to make things better while still failing.

I've always wanted a small plush of her that I could keep in my pocket and take with me places. Though I feel like if money is no object I should go for something more grand. Ironically enough I was listening to this the other day. The Warthog run at the end of Halo 3 was the perfect way to end the trilogy, I think. It's just Chief and the Arbiter making a final do or die run to try and escape certain death as the installation they were on breaks apart around them. The way the song would ramp up as you got closer to the end made the whole scene feel very epic for lack of a better word. The begging is my favourite part as it perfectly conveys the mystery and eeriness of the scene during which it plays. It's quite a magical moment that is made powerful mainly because of the track. As it ramps up it eventually becomes a lot more fast and pumps you up. The instruments complement the aesthetic to perfection. It's used during a turning point in the story so it's fitting for it to be the best in the OST.

If I had financial security, I'd get a home and build a shrine of him. I don't like to commission work, I prefer to make things myself. I feel like it's more rewarding and more special to make something for Kass myself that no one else could replicate. I suppose I'd get a canon-proportion, full-size plush of him that's over 9' tall. On top of that, I'd get a VR-headset and commission some software that lets me simulate being with him. So on and so forth.

People have referred to my outlook as "dark optimism" before, because while I hope for the best and do what I can to not give up, I always expect the worst outcome for things. Hope is about all I have left these days, since reality hasn't been kind to me. On a more lighthearted note, what are your reservations about getting a daki?
