It was absolutely pathetic and cringeworthy.
I'm going there again Wednesday

>Two hours
That's quite a lot of time user. You sure it's a good idea to keep them that long? Recovery aside it may be unsustainable time wise in the long run.

Keep going user, we're all gonna make it

Oh It was actually around an hour and a half
I said two hours in order to not look like a weakling

Every journey has a first step,
best of luck to you user

I just keep moving forward... until my gains goblins are destroyed

>1.5h
Well now that's more reasonable.
>in order not to look like a weakling
Nothing wrong with being weak if you're working on changing it. By going to the gym you've already surpassed many people and if you go again and again you'll continue doing so.
That being said don't conflict the length of the workout with it's effectiveness. There's little to no reason to stay in the for much longer unless you're juicing (if you can work out for that long you probably aren't pushing yourself enough).
Good luck on your journey user

Hmm now that you mention it, I did think of doing 6 exercices which are only compound
What do you think of it? Is it too much? I was planning on doing 3 sets of each one of them

post bo-

jk haha

Well if you do that with rests up to 3 minutes you could finish the whole thing in ~1h. It's not a bad idea if you really push yourself on those 3 sets. Imho beginners shouldn't focus on fluff excercises too much anyway. That being said there's nothing wrong with adding a little isolation work for lagging areas (just cut the rest time in half for them/superset to save time)
>jk
You almost got me there

You could get a good workout in

Hum! Yes I will do that! You can count on me! I WILL push myself on those 3 sets! I WILL do a superset when doing isolation!
Thank you so much anons

actually do. Or don't but take a picture for your own reference. Trust me, it motivates you so fucking hard when you compare yourself to how you were 6/12/18 months ago

What the fuck is your problem?

>Yes I will do that! You can count on me!
Do that but remember to stay safe. It's not a sprint but a marathon and it should be sustainable long term so you should avoid injuries
That's a good advice. It might be hard to notice the changes as they are incremental. Also taking the pictures gives you additional bragging rights once you make it

Today in ~45 minutes i 8 lifts and stretched for 5 minutes to warm up by keeping a timer going so I didn't take longer than 90 seconds between any set. Also superset together certain workouts... kept the pump strong and the sweat drippin! Was a great workout

How do you warm up

90s rests really are the goat if you're not going for pure strength

Seriously though, I don't know how to warm up
What kind of movements do you do

I do the lifts that I am going to do without any weight on the bar. Then I gradually increase the weight until I have my target weight on the bar. That way I have my heart rate up and my body is stretched and used to the movement it is now going to do with lots of weight.

Keep it up, we're rooting for you

Cause of death: terminal DOMS

Do Greyskull LP Phrak's OP. Its a good starting routine, won't take you long to complete your sets.

Remember, there's no set time limit for you to finish your exercising. Some days I'm in and out in half an hour, others I'm there an hour

Bro no one cares about how long you work out. Go workout and stop when you're not having fun

What exercises did you do OP?

Remember, as cheesy as it sounds every journey begins with a single step forward
