for like 3 months i only ate around 1200 calories. apple sauce and banana for breakfast. chicken breast,protein shake and salad for lunch. dinner was oatmeal with an apple and sugar free jello. only snack I ate was plain granola. since summer started i eat a much better diet around 3000 calories usually consisting of ground turkey rice and oatmeal. My old routine was gym everyday alternating between bro split lifts and cardio. Now I still do something close to a bro split but it is a 3 day split with one of the three days only being 20 mins of jump rope and a long ab workout.

For the first 3 weeks or so I’d literally just force myself to go to the gym and exert myself for at least an hour. No specific regimen or plan, just lifting (usually with machines) until I could feel my muscles were strained. My appetite skyrocketed (was very skinny for so long on account of my very low appetite) and consumed lots of protein. Whole milk, Whey based supplements, and lots of meat.
As I became more familiar with the gym I eventually settled on a fairly generic PPL routine. Nothing fancy. Just occasionally switched and swapped different exercises on different days to add some variety. Kept up with consuming lots of protein as well. My issue is that I probably need more time to rest, as I typically lift every day for at least an hour.
I'm honestly not on anything probably no way to prove it but i wouldn't just lie on here for no reason tbf. I was just a lazy stoner with no motivation and ate like shit. My dad has always been into bodybuilding so ig i have good genetics. It upsets me when friends/family think i'm on something bc I wanted to make a drastic change fast.

I just recently started drinking again and try to only every couple weeks. I went around 3 months with no cheat meals at all. Cardio used to be 40 minutes on a stationary bike at a high resistance and then run a mile. I attribute a lot of my success to working out in sweats/layers. Many people say it will just cause water weight to be lost but it also used to benefit me greatly when I had to lose weight for wrestling although I was still fat then.

I don't really have any full rest days I do some form of exercise 7 days a week. I have OCD so I think it has a lot to do with it bc once I commit to something I am 100 % in. Also wearing sweats and multiple layers of clothes to sweat my ass off and get my heart rate going really seemed to help me shred fat in the beginning.
I promise you i am not on steroids and would not lie to random strangers on an anime board because I would not want to give them unrealistic expectations. I do not even lift a lot of weight and am 5' 10 140 lbs.
