typically when someone here says they can, for example, bench 2pl8, it means 2pl8 on each side of the bar, so if in non-burger areas: 20kg bar + 20kg * 2 on each side so 100kg. (Or here in the us, 225lbs) 1pl8 means one plate on each side of bar so 20+20+20 = 60kg or 135lbs
