Our modern society is extremely dependant on the division of labor and jobs that provide the basics of human life have been mechanized so far that very few people are required for them.
Face it: Most work today provides absolutely useless results: Retail clerks, fast food personnel, insurance workers, bankers, almost every job in the government, etc.
Everyone is just a member in the assembly line, a cog in the machine. Look at how few people actually produce a product all by themselves, be it a loaf of bread, a piece of clothing or a chair.
Since men are naturally better at improvisation, mechanical creativity and versatility, they are naturally less fullfilled. Women can deal much better with doing the same thing day in - day out.
We don't have to go back to the fucking stone age to see at what activities men excel. Just look at the time before full-on industrialization.
