self-pitying and wallowing
Antique furniture restoration, flipping shitbox cars, and just flipping anything profitable in general. I like hiking and day trips too when I need a break
I play piano and write music. I even have a well-received YouTube channel with my compositions. I just wish i had more time to practice
Drinking and smoking tobacco while listening to vaguely depressing lofi.
I lift weights and shout at minorities on discord
Trading cards and other collections, photography kinda, forensic psych kinda, and trying to reignite my old passion for writing code

I got better at drawing in the last 2 weeks than in my whole life:

>swim
>run
>study
anyone else have an issue with just quitting shit when you're bad? I really wanted to do gunpla but I broke so much shit and could barely get the stickers on. It came out awful. I've also had the same shit with music production. How do you get through the "holy shit I'm awful at this"
I don’t do all of them all the time, e.g. winter is for skiing, spring is for mountaineering, and late summer/fall is mostly bouldering, lifting, biking etc.
Who hurt you, user?
lmao you’re straight from reddit, post body
Is that a Famas?
I'm a painter
I abstain from masturbating
IDK how you can fuck up Gunpla, you just need the right tools for the job, a lot of patience and the ability to do tedious shit. I've only been casually doing it for a year and I love it. I used to build a lot of Lego and do some other model making as a kid though so maybe those base skills helped.
I'm in school for Mathematics. Not only do I get mogged at the gym, I get IQ mogged at university too
All my spare time is devoted to piano. Hoping to finish Chopin's Ballade in G minor by the end of this year.
I really love it and people are impressed by it but not having any other real social hobbies is wearing me down a bit.
How does one learn piano?
Did you start with something really hard? Stuff like the Unicorn or certain units are really difficult to assemble, even for people who've done it for years
Never got any gunpla but if I were to start I'd do it with something really simple like a Zaku or GM, or something I wouldn't be mad if I did it wrong
based and autist pilled
no it's a Famas
get a cheap electric piano, look up "how to play piano" on youtube
Well when I'm not posting on a backwater Manchurian wishing well building board I'm learning how to play violin, playing guitar, doing shit to my car, looking at a new car to buy, reading, watching movies, walking my dogs and random shit

Guitar, music composing/productio, fishing, vidya, anime, video editing, editing photos for lols and fun.
I used to compose music for vidya but now i work on a farm, pays more.
to all the guitar players here, do you guys have any tips to get rid of the buzzing sound when playing a chord
or how to properly play chords like B or Bb where you gotta hold like 5 strings with one finger
>poker
>chess
>brewing
that's about it, gonna start taking a painting class soon and see how that goes, i use to play piano when i was young but i lost interest
My fingers still hurt
>pic related
I can’t play bar chords yet, but the buzzing stops once your finger strength improves; at least that’s what I’ve been told.
Trying to cope with the fact I'll never get a cute gf

No pain no gain son, how can you handle lifting but not playing the guitar because of pain?
Lifting doesn't hurt unless you have poor form. Proper form for guitar hurts
No these are
100% built from scratch...every screw, spring, and pin.
Long barrel is .223 wylde (.223 and 5.56). Barrel is 18" fluted stainless steel. Other silver parts are made of titanium for weight savings (wife's rifle). Carbon fiber hand guard/heatshield. 2-stage geissele trigger. NiB exo-coated BCG. Despite its appearance it's slightly back heavy (extra heavy buffer and spring to minimize recoil) and for balance. Concept was to make a lightweight rifle that wife wasnt afraid to shoot that she could prop up with bipod and plink away all day.
Shorter is .300blk. I'd like to someday get a tax stamp and 9" barrel for it. Kinda just threw it together with random/extra parts I had laying around. Heavier and bigger bullet goes right through cover and good for taking out deer/wild hogs. Larger bullet also means a bit heavier of recoil though.
Since they are made primarily of aluminum alloys, titanium, and stainless steel and/or melontie treated steel...these will survive well past me.
You could put them in ground and they wouldnt corrode for thousands of years. Strange thing to think about.
I made them with intention of them being family heirlooms (rifles made using most current technology of the day).
You never know when firearm industry may be hit with heavy regulation and the entire market if AR building and premium components will literally implode overnight.
sometimes I go to books a million, drink a black coffee, glance at a few magazines and books and then I leave
Very nice. Have you ever thought about opening a customs shop?
>100% built from scratch...every screw, spring, and pin.
Can you teach us where to start the noble art of forgering weapons? How much it cost you for these two?
>I made them with intention of them being family heirlooms (rifles made using most current technology of the day).
Based, your grandchildren will need it to survive the antichrist government and 5G
>You never know when firearm industry may be hit with heavy regulation and the entire market if AR building and premium components will literally implode overnight.
You smart
>forgering
Meant to say forging
seconding, these look professional
nigga don't say you built something from scratch when you bought the parts. YOU BUILT IT FROM PARTS
Building fast shitboxes and racing them.
Yes. Not a firearm dealer, but have thought of getting my FFL for selling components (only the lower receiver/where magazine is inserted is considered the firearm). Maybe opening a booth/stall at gunshow with a table of primo parts.
If anything, I do a SHITLOAD of research on parts, components, reviews, etc.
Right down to having autistic spreadsheets of the weight (in grams) of every part.
I'd consider being a parts curator and providing a collection/selection of parts to make things simple.
Ideally, only 3 options:
budget (best value/quality)
mainline (something no frills that you would build one for each family member)
heritage (something you build that's premium and children would fight over)
Too many choices in today's world.
Just doing research and telling people what they need/whats good in itself is a value added service .

On Jow Forums there are stories/legends of a guy making an AK out of a shovel.
I can't come close to that.

I install gentoo and advocate for Free Software
I knit and watch anime.
I dance (people say I do it quite well) and play the guitar (but I'm bad at it)
Is that ever a party trick that comes up?
Go is basically super chess on roids. Even to normies it's easy to make it sound interesting. Easy to spin into a conversation. How do you - you personally - tell others your free time is spent proving things already proven?
I am developing a pornographic video game with my best friend, and I like to draw.
I write greentext fanfics for a certain show about technicolour horses

Recently reignited an old passion for language. Brushing up on my German by watching movies and shows and I'm starting Italian and Japanese classes soon.
Practice. Your fingers will get stronger and more flexable. Your calusses will help with applying pressure once they become hardened. Keep at it young buck!
I did that a bit but now I get paid a salary to write porn instead
