Beginner here. I just hit 1 pl8 today. Feels good. Have to admit, just the size of them was intimidating at first. Now I get a good sense of confidence putting it on the bar.

started at the bar and stalled at like 45kg from left hip pain. I'm persevering though, squat is the lift I fear most, 52kg feels like so much weight on my back. I hope I'll get to 1pl8 before the end of the month though

Honestly I fucking hate squats. It's one of my strongest lifts but it gives me no joy at all nor does it feel good. Doing SS for half a year really fucked up squatting for me.
