I DETEST the concept of gendering products that do not vary in the slightest from how they are distinguished/marketed/labeled such as womens razors and literally pens. That said, I did just buy Bed Head shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream **for men** because each was $4.99 at Marshalls, so... :/

Why the fuck do you care about product gendering if you are a male? Literally everything gendered for men is cheaper than for women.

People are too insecure to use gender neutral hair products. They all want to be manly men or womanly women. That's why companies make them gender specific.

This is now a personal hygiene thread.

ok, explain it to me then

Ask your middle school PE teacher little guy

Of it makes more money, why should the companies not do it. I dont sell womens products, and I dont consume them. It does not affect me, but if I had a chance to profit off of it, I would.

No, I'm asking you. Do you know the answer or don't you?

If you aren't buying products based on ewg ratings, youre literally giving yourself cancer. Some products literally have laboratory grade piss in them.

So why even fucking bother? If you really don't care, buy the one that better suits you and silently fuck off like the rest of us

If they're the same thing, then just buy the men's, but most of the time, they aren't the same.

thought it was bitcoin shampoo from the thumbnail. very disappointed

They do the same thing for facial products I use. The male equivalent is way more expensive than the women's one by up to 15% at times. You know what I do? I just buy the women's one.

There's too much money to be made exploting womens vanity for things to change. Even for the basics like soap and shampoo men aren't willing to pay nearly as much on hygiene products. Other than a few things men exclusively need like beard products the mens market mainly exists just as a byproduct of the larger womens market creating demand for products that simply don't smell like lavander and shit. As long as women are willing to spend 35 dollars for a small bottle of conditioner when that's the "cheap" one things aren't going to change.

Male and female hygene products usually differ. Men and women have different hair and skin, thus their hygene products are designed around their properties.

I agree. Tampons shouldn't be gendered either, my boiperiod is not feminine

This some American Psycho shit.
