I'm so fucked, I stole some money from my company and I think they're starting to figure it out. the amount i stole was about 21,000 USD over a period of 3 years.
How much trouble will I get in? should I deny it or should i admit it before they prove its me?
How did you steal it? It depends, is it a midsized shop or some faceless multinational ?
Henry Richardson
I did ye olde Grand Larceny once. The most important thing I learned was admit nothing. Say nothing. Let your lawyer do the talking. They aren't your friends or good people. Apologizing and owing your mistakes in this situation will literally only serve to fuck you. Remember your character. You are falsely accused and that is upsetting.
Justin Campbell
It's a big company but they didn't have an ERP software. I was basically a mid point for cash transactions. Now they implemented an ERP software and the back dated receipts issued aren't adding up with the amounts received.
Jeremiah Sanders
Did you take a flat amount off of each transaction? Was it always with the same vendor and you can blame something like a payment fee they took out? You're probably done for unless it's random amounts. At best you're gonna look incompetent, at worst you're going to jail
Joseph Reyes
This Act ignorant until they start throwing around accusations then immediately shut up and lawyer up
I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove it was me.
Jacob Barnes
Hey, you got the joke. Good for you buddy.
Bentley Adams
Firstly, you're retarded OP. Secondly, admit nothing. Say nothing at all. Thirdly, get in touch with your lawyer about this immediately.
Christian Baker
like others have said, deny it unless they have already officially proven you guilty in court and officially offered a deal or whatever good luck but stealing bad dont do it
Eli Hall
lmao not even in the USA
Thanks for the tips guys, gonna keep my mouth shut and act like i dont know anything about it
Bentley Taylor
This, desu. There's nothing you can admit to them now that you can't admit to them later through a lawyer, possibly in exchange for pleading to a lesser charge or a reduction in sentence.
Alexander Hall
Where did you transfer the money to? Did you make any big purchases over the past 3 years?
Isaac Scott
>how much trouble LMAO you are not "in trouble," this is a federal crime
Elijah Robinson
