i've never benched anything in my entire life

two hundred pounds (2 reps)

Attached: 1550791514181.jpg (588x427, 46K)

Based

Should be 2pl8 last time I've checked

Same here, did a third rep too but the spotter clearly lied it was "all me".

75 kgs for 5 reps

I hit 100kgs years ago, but I was using my shoulders entirely. It led to ten years of injuries. I've just now learned how to bench with form that uses my chest, but I also can't seem to get much stronger.

Oh well, it's just nice being able to bench again

65kg

I bench 165kg (363lbs) at 88kg (194lb) bw.
My current stats.

95kg x2. haven't benched in two weeks though cuz of a shoulder injury so it might be lower by now

~1pl with a body weight of roughly 1 pl + bar.

110kgx5, but can't do 5x5 with it

I one-repped 240 like a month ago and that was before I could 5x5 225, so it's probably higher now.

80kg x 6
6"5 115kg bw
This irks me, i can't bench higher than 80, what do

Disgusting

Some guys were talking here recently about doing high rep low weight facepulls to get a pump going before pressing. Just started doing that today.

based

60 kg for 5

92.5kg 5x5
been doing SL and started from 1pl8
haven't failed yet just finished week 9, would recommend

right now not much since I have shoulder issues. before that I could bench 315 1RM. Hope that soon I can be back to benching big boy weights again, for now lighter dumbbell incline is all I can reasonably do without taking too much risks of impairing my recovery.

eight reps of 120kg, I myself weight 95 kg

I dont want to be that anonymous fit guy who talks other down, but these numbers seem pretty low, dont they?

255 1rm
225 5 reps

50kg x5
been lifting for 2 months

same and same.

have you taken a look around a normal gym ? there arent that many guys benching 2pl8 for reps even if most of Jow Forums would make you believe anyoone can just walk in and do it. In reality 1pl8 or 1.5pl8 for reps is the norm around the gym. Take away the obvious roiders and the amount of people who bench 2pl8 for reps natty in a commercial gym isnt that big.

Sure it can easily be achieved and it took me about a year to bench 2pl8x5 but it isnt that common. And since a lot of people who talk about fitness online are newer lifters I think this is just one of the few threads where people arent e-statting and lying about it.

Low test

250 was the max I ever did at 140. 270 was my arm press. 19

sauce?

Me and the pool stick would totally DP that

I agree, I can count the people benching >2pl in my gym on one hand, it is pretty casual though.
Same handful are also the only people squatting/dead lifting heavy.

I don't have any sauce but my brother had to spot me. had to pull the weight up. We were doing highest reps. He was pushing a two of the 250 and doing active 230's at a 150.

How much do you barbell curl and dumbbell curl user?

Mommyyyy

no idea i can do about 20 pushups at 84 kg bw and im working up to ring dips by practicing a support hold and negatives

4 sets of (40kg+20kg bar) x5
Lifting for 5 months now

I've gained more weight and muscle, but still can't lift much, am I doing something wrong..?

I hate that I have to compete with blacks for these fertile sows. Just under 2pl8.

wait, been lifting for 8 months

holyshit time goes fast

you are probably right, after all /fit is mire of a place for fitness related insider-humor

103kg 5x5

60 kg. 7 reps.

probably 235-240 for 1 rep.

*lbs

does that help warm you up to bench? You see any improvement?

redpilled

tightening the scapula is good for benching

Got to 1 pl8 for 2 of my 5x5 sets this week. Started lifting just over a month ago after 3 months of just cardio and calorie deficit. Pretty happy with it. Can't wait till I can do the whole 5x5.

139kgx5

I’m sure I’ll get made fun of, but just benched 160lbs for 2 reps which is me new max. I am gaining about 5lbs/week on my bench pretty consistently, so I am happy.

357lbs at 242 at the start of the year haven’t had a spot since to go up

300 lbs for a 3x5. Any tips for breaking a plateau so I can finally hit lmao3pl8s?

Been lifting 8 months and bench has stalled at 80kg (5 for 5) past two months, don’t think I’m gonna make it boys

lmao1pl8

265lbs for 6 reps.

I get shoulder pain around 200lb for reps (1x5 but if I don't deload, currently can only hit 3r on the second set before my shoulder starts to feel kinda scary), so I'm too afraid of it bailing hard, if I go for 1rm, but I've done 210 without too much trouble.

>tfw my OHP is weak as fuark due to this

>reported

I have been lifting only for 5 months and I'm small guy you know. At least I'm trying, OK?

65kg guy

fatty bum bum

120kgx3@75kg

Around 125 kg for one rep.

75kg 5×5 @ 90kg bw

I'm stuck at 80kg for 5 reps

1pl8(1 rep)
110lbs 5 rep

That's great, why should somebody make fun of you? Everybody gotta start somewhere

205x8 at 173lbs bw

ikr

250 for 2 is my best so far

170 for 5 reps.

Lifting for 4 months

140kg 3*5
120kg 5*6

Weight 111kg 25% body fat

I know this feel, user. My right shoulder is way fucked from lifting old people in and out of their wheelchairs for years with bad form, and my bench and OHP are complete poverty tier as a result. It took me an embarrassingly long time to get to lmao1pl8 bench, and I still can barely do 95lbs OHP for a full set of 5. It's extremely frustrating and I'm pretty sure the 1 and 2 in 1/2/3/4 are gonna be the limit for me if I can reach them. I think what I need to do is focus on one of the two lifts for a couple months at a time to get in more volume and frequency, as opposed to alternating them.

Attached: 1565412471617.png (670x578, 345K)

88kg for 5 reps
Not there yet

120kg. That's around 260lbs.
I'm about to start a program to try and get my bench up because my training has never had any structure to it and I want to lift more.

170 lbs bench

I'm trying to bulk to 170 rn

yeah, but she's still got a hip-waist ratio, and the clothes manage to hide the flabs.

80kg
am around 70kg

did 325lbsx5 on thursday with no spot, prob could have got 6 desu

only big boi in here

50 kg 5 reps ay lmao.

I could probably do 165 for 10, just havent tried, and I workout alone so I'm not PRing my bench.

Feelsbadman

Been putting off going to the doctor, but I don't think I have a choice at this point.

>tfw dad just had shoulder surgery yesterday

370 was my best, but not it's maybe 335

220 lbs for 5 reps
Online calculators tell me I can bench up to 260ish but I've never done it so im not 100% sure if I can

probably 90lbs right now. When I lifted for 4 months I think I got to 140 lbs for 5x5. plz no bully

Started about 8 weeks ago, just made it to a working weight of 1 pl8. Probably my least favorite lift though because i have long arms and dainty wrists

255 @ 180 lbs bodyweight... I'm kinda stalled at that for my 1 rep max because I tried 265 without a spotter and almost got guillotined. Don't really go past 225 since that happened. If I get a workout partner I'll start pushing max bench again.

70kg 1rm at 70kg bw. Been in the gym for 2 months

that is not obese wtf
look at her stomach arms and legs she's just got good fat distribution
if she was obese those other features would be way larger

275lbs I really want that lmao3pl8

it's ok user just keep working on it

Friendly reminder that this is actually unironically based and redpilled as everyone who benches heavy inevitably ends up injuring a rotator cuff injuries. Quit/Repent while you are ahead lads, there are far better and safer lifts for your pecs.

Attached: 1564952935544.jpg (500x750, 101K)

385lbs

Never benched more than 230lbs. I lift for size, 185 is usually what I bench on my top set, more than enough to get a good stretch on the negative and tight squeeze on the positive

275x1 with a shitty half-rep attempted right after it.

that was 5 years ago and I only do dumbbell bench now lol
