Is my posture fucked?
I’ve never had back pain that wasn’t caused by some blunt injury

Looks like anterior pelvic tilt, Jeff made some videos on how to fix it
Oh shit that sounds very likely
so I guess I have a less extreme version of it? I’m nowhere near as bad as this guy
It's nothing that physical therapy can't fix.
Look up some stretching routines to make sure it's not just tight muscles pulling your waist down.
Thank for th response seems I do have a problem
Does it look like I have a hunchback?
Nah but if you look at your posture it's obvious that your back isn't straight.
Ears to neck is pointing behind you then your chest goes in the opposite direction then your waist cuts back in the original direction.
Stand with your back flat against the wall with your arms out in a T pose but with your elbows bent like you are surrendering.
not that bad. Squeeze your glutes (ass) to push your hips into a more neutral position.
How does one know if they are using proper posture or not?
The third line here If you can stand like this with everything touching the wall without straining then you have good posture.
>If you can stand like this with everything touching the wall without straining then you have good posture.
Even the lower back? I find when I do that my lower back comes out a bit and it’s almost impossible to have it flat against the wall, I guess in fucked
Your waist should be touching the wall.
Focus more on your traps and head after your waist is already touching the wall.
If you are straining to make your waist back and head touch the wall then you have bad posture.
This is not about judging how perfectly you are touching the wall.
Anterior pelvic tilt.

See whether you have issues with those 3 hip mobility checks he shows on Jesse. If not don't worry about stretching your hips, strengthen them instead.
Quad stretches you need:

On top of that you need to strengthen your glutes and hips in general:

Do those, and if you're not feeling it in your glute medius follow it up with

Since your core might be weak as well, it won't hurt to throw in some ab specific exercises.
I think you might have gyno
Thank you very much for all of this
Question, I workout very often and have an okay squat of 250 and deadlift of 290 (I know I’m lagging on the deadlift but it’s not terrible) could I still have weak hips even tho I can pull these numbers ?
OP here, this thread is gonna die soon but I want to let you guys know that you all have been super helpful, you made me realize I had shitty posture and what kind of problem it was and how to fix it and I already feel my posture has gotten better since I now understood what I had to fix.
I posted the same thing on reddit and got one reply basically telling me to go fuck myself because I didn’t take a full body pic with no pants on
Again thank you all.
We’re all gonna make it.

Looks like anterior pelvic tilt and also left scoliosis.
Strengthening your core should fix it.
Wow this may actually be the best video I’ve found about APT yet. Thank you very much for this.
