It's a dumb meme. I've never mouth breathed in my life, have always held my tongue in the supposedly "correct" position and still have a weak chin and jaw despite being low bf.

It's all genetics. Don't put yourself under discomfort daily for the sake of a meme. Just admit you can't change your face or get surgery. There's no magic trick.

Yeah, chin tucking is supposed to be extreme/exaggerated (if you have bad recession your face melts into your neck into doublechins), however it is closer to what good posture should be, and it allows you to put more pressure on the palate and also strengthens the weak muscles that cause forward neck posture. The problem is that if your palate is narrow, your jaw is receded, etc. you end up jutting your neck forward to compensate so you are able to breathe adequately. Over time as the jaw moves forward your appearance and your posture should improve

Google search turned up nothing. What are you talking about? Where do I go? I want to do it too.

I've been mewing for ~6 years and my jawline looks a lot better. I can now see a clear line around my jaw, all the way around the ramus, despite equal or higher bodyfat. My cheekbones are also a little more cut, and my face looks more handsome and mature. I've probably gone up 1 full point on the 10 point scale. I was once consider double jaw surgery for my sunken bones but now they're barely noticeable, and I get compliments for being handsome regularly.

I am not willing to share photos. That's just my personal anecdote. There is really no reason not to have good oral posture, though.
