I've been lifting on and off since I was 18. I'm 23 now. I have been going consistently now for the past 5 months and got back to the highest numbers I've had when I was younger.
My squat has always been weak. Today I did 235lbs which is my highest. It felt grindy. Is my core too weak?
looks good man. only thing I'd point out is your getting alot of thoracic extension. if you pull your ribs down to your pelvis slightly you'll align your diaphragm and pelvic floor parallel with the ground at lockout. This'll improve strength of your brace. if you want to do core work I highly reccomend deadbugs

I think your right. After I did this video I dropped 10lbs off and went a little wider and it felt better on my glutes.
Off topic: if I lowbar squat only, do I need to work on my glutes separately? I deadlift and sumo too though
My deadlift is 325 orm and sumo 225 for reps.

Oooh I see what the anons were talking about now.
I put my phone on top of the emergency exit door knob to get a good angle. I saw someone parking their car and heading towards the door(which can be opened by employees). So I hurried up with the squat before they opened the door and droped my phone.
