I am going into first year of a master's (did undergrad at Dal too). New dalplex is absolutely gorgeous; much nicer than going into the grungy fieldhouse weight room and getting blasted with 25 degrees and sweaty humidity. I dont use snap but i have discord or email

Rhodes scholar or a Britbong?

It's all about timing. Especially at the beginning of each semester it is incredibly crowded at the afc in the evenings and to some extent in the mornings, but it gets manageable as people stop working out as the year goes on. Usually around noon the afc is pretty empty year round though.

But (at least when I was there two years ago) mem gym was known as the hardcore gym, where you can go and no nonsense lift- in part because it was in the basement and dark and old equipment. I think I saw they renovated it so I'm not sure what it's like now. But mem gym is a good option as well, especially if you're in old dorms.

North grounds is pretty much the afc for law and grad students, it can be a nice change up every so often but you're not missing much if you don't go there.

Slaughter is a dumb gym but can get the job done if you live right there.

AFC is really crowded 4pm-9pm but is usually empty midday and mornings
Mem on the other hand is almost never full, you can go basically any time of day and still manage to get a rack
