Try to constantly reduce your daily sugar intake untill you get to a healthy norm. So basically keep track of it.

This. I tried quitting cold turkey cause addiction isn’t something I normally deal with, but the withdrawal was whacked. I started craving sugar and found myself face deep in Nutella and ice cream not long after.
