You would call this exercise (a variation of) a "neutral grip" pull up, performed with a very close grip. Chin up would have pronated grip, pull up would have supinated grip. The webm uses ropes instead of handles, which is the most unique part of the exercise.

All these pull up/chin up types work the same muscles, but regular pull ups involve the biceps the least. Using ropes instead of bars/handles I'm guessing requires a lot more grip strength and more energy spent stabilizing.

Its a chin up with vertical pole grips. Its to train forearm and finger strength. Your forearms/fingers will give up before your biceps or back. Good at the end of a routine. Should be treated as accessory unless youre specifically targeting forearms.

pretty similar to towel pull ups. Its mostly used to help with grip strength. I just take out the pull up part and just do hangs

I was thought the difference was merely grip width and that grip orientation could go either way, but was just more commonly pronated for pulls and supinated for chins.
