I only did what I had to in order to protect myself. In the end, I've still failed, but at least I tried. They were most likely manipulated by the psychiatrists. They always go after vulnerable people. Another possibility is that you're just a manipulator yourself so your sister had a good reason to lash out, even if her belief in demons isn't exactly correct. They only exist to control people. Can there even be a positive experience with them.

Not OP but I am pretty sure they are taught to lie their asses off to their patients. I'm in Canada and they probably lie about getting paid off by the pharmaceutical industry (they might not get paid directly but they are profiting somehow, otherwise the way they push certain drugs would be rather strange), they definitely lie about your rights (for example they tell you you can leave hospital when you actually can't without permission, they tell you it's your choice to take meds or not even though they take extreme measures to make sure you take them and in the last resort can either force you or lock you up forever). I can't stand psychiatrists because they can't even admit to themselves that they torture people for money.

I'm a mentally ill person and I agree with you... Severely mentally ill people should either brought to some community labor camps where they get therapy away from society or euthanized... Period We are dangerous and harmful. You need a bath of humility and a little bit of intelligence to understand that.
(I'm diagnosed with GAD, OCD, ADHD and narcissistic borderline, I've done really bad things and even if I want to get better I'll still be harmful.. Wish there was euthanasia for mentally ill people)
