No, OP. Here is why I say that:

I am relatively agnostic. I believe God exists, and I believe Jesus was a real person who actually walked the earth, as do most historians of various and opposing religious beliefs. I have difficulty wrapping my head around the idea of God as a personal father who loves each of us and has some sort of life plan for us. That aside, I do believe there is a very solid, evidenced, and rational cumulative case for Christianity. My "faith" is weak -- I tend to look at things from a very skeptical, jaded and pessimistic point of view.

All that aside, to your question, it is my opinion that Christianity does not create, foster or encourage weakness -- Christianity, or God, or Jesus, or "the law" calls for two things: 1) that you love God, and 2) that you love your neighbor as yourself. Many people will dispute whether love for God is essential, but as I am sure you will agree, only sociopaths think love for neighbor is in some way an error.

Christianity calls for discipline -- which, if you are on Jow Forums, you will know already is important; without discipline, there can be no gains. Discipline is a masculine trait, in the same sense that the law came from God the father. Discipline is the temperance of ourselves, which enables us to make short-term sacrifices for greater long-term gains. If we are sacrificing alcohol on Friday nights because we are supposed to be in the gym finishing our weekly routine, we gain in the long run strength and aesthetics. Christianity is applying this same principle in many other areas with similar results.

Likewise, if you've ever read any of the red pill content from dating gurus and the like, you may have stumbled across their worldviews -- which despite their sexual proclivities are very hard-right. They see the decay of western society brought on by the emancipation of women, the progressive removal on restraint (self-control), the erosion of the family and the ever-expanding power of central government.

If you go back and look over the cycle of history, you will find that as people let down their guard, lower their standards, give way to bullshit, and generally allow depravity to creep its way in, everything gets worse as a natural, predictable result. The same things happened to the Jews in the Old Testament over and over again because they kept making the aforementioned mistakes. And look at what we do today -- homosexuality is considered normal and healthy, there is a fat acceptance movement, pedophilia is creeping into the mainstream, transexuality is validated, divorce rates are sky high, etc. What I am trying to point out here is that society is failing, and it is failing as a result of the choices that it is making, choices in opposition to the Christian ethic.

Someone who is full of vice is a liability, right? Look at society -- full of vice, full of liability. Homosexuality gives rise to STDs -- liability. Premarital sex gives rise to unwanted, unplanned, unmanaged pregnancies -- liability. Absence of love for neighbor gives rise to every pain any of us has ever experienced -- liabilities.

Christianity gives men the guidance to become assets themselves -- it makes you the type of person people want to have around. And that's a power all by itself.

So no, Christianity is not weakness; Christianity is intelligent, consciously-directed strength from people who have grown up and realized that they are not the center of the world and that wantonly doing whatever you want to do whenever you want to do it is not good business sense, nor is it good for the people around you, if you care.
