Why aren't you eating your Skyr?

I am. Used to do unsweetened Balkan yogurt, then switched to Greek, then discovered Skyr.

Because I'm American

but i am

i ate kilogram of it in one sitting today morning

I am, less than a quid for a pot in Lidl

They sell Skyr in Whole Foods and other stores like that.

I can't find large size Skyr anywhere so I am just eating Greek. Skyr is pretty good though.

Same. I usually settle for Fage 5%, or Siggis.

>fats bad
>carbs evil
>protein GOOD! PROTEIIIIIN! PROTEEEEIIIIINNNNN!

>not eating this with some flavour drops

Post body.

Also nobody is saying carbs are evil or fats are bad here. Just a PSA of the godlike protein content of Skyr.

post body

Is Skyr the most superior breakfast to eat?

I used to eat a kilo every morning

Is skyr considered normal dairy, as in you shouldn’t eat so much of it?

what is protein in nazi

Dude, is skyr literally 24g of protein per TABLE SPOON?

Eiweiß

Imagine being this retarded

...no

But I am.

No, it's 9-10 protons per 100g.

It's a shitty infograph; it's 24 g of protein per 200 g.

Because it is not worth the price increase compared to unflavored greek

Jesus Christ you Germans.

Ok, jokes aside does it mean "white stuff"?

any reason to eat this over protein powder

eggwhite

I'm Belgian, actually. Eiweiß literally means egg white.

Dude, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOOGLE???

Do you think you can fit ~40 grams of nutrients, plus at least an equal if not greater amount of water in one tablespoon?

It's reel fuuud so it;s healthy and shit.

Protons in cottage cheeses is casein, so compare it to that. I guess it is more economical to buy just casein powder, but then you're missing on the taste and feeling of normal food.

because quark is basically the same

> Being Belgian and not choosing to speak the superior French language.
Ne reussira jamais.

Pretty sure he does.

quark is mainly is northern europe thing. i only see it in my country(netherlands) germany, belgium and usually the nordics. hard to find outside that

How does yogurt compare to cottage cheese in macros?

Becouse I live in (((burgerland))) and there's nowhere to fucking find this nectar of the gods.

Kroger has Skyr. It's where I buy mine. Sprouts has it as well.

Fairly close, but slightly worse in every category except Calcium content.

not gonna eat some shit that sounds like a sci fi cliche, thanks.

I eat the Greek stuff for lunch every day, god tier food.

Ate breakfast at a hotel I stayed at recently, they had a parfait that had something in it that was like greek yogurt, but a lot more solid in texture. Was that skyr?

You expect me to know what those wingdings mean?

I eat 440g container every morning

because theyre expensive here

Skyr is wonderful.
Eat a 450g pot a day.
40g of protein. Usually have it after my workout

I speak the superior Flemish language, though.

holy based

tastes like battery acid

watch this

Attached: harzer.jpg (800x450, 84K)

>I speak the superior Flemish language
ngmi

I am

The best!

Protein.

>Impressive, real nice. Now let's see Paul Allen's dairy

Attached: harzbube.png (834x834, 230K)

>amerimaymays

>so ein Harzer Käse, ballerst du dir drei Rollen rein, bums, hast du die Proteinmenge! Also is prutal also wirklich *burp*.

Greek yogurt was made by bulgarians, fuck you.

I think I eat that, it's called "fresh cheesy cream" or some shit like that, it's actually godlike stuff. 40kcals, 8gr of protein/100g. It's 500gr total for 1'15€ so you get 40gr of protein and only 200kcals for 1€. Add some oats and boom. I eat that shit raw no flavoringd no sugars just yogurt and oats.

Its' expensive compared to Greek.

My country doesn't fucking sell it what do you want me to do????

No way greek yoghurt has 20% protein content. The ones they sell at my supermarket are all 8% at best, full of sugars too.
Am I being Jewed? I live in the Netherlands

gebaseerd en roodgepilld

I mean, it looks good, but how is the price per protein?
I've never seen anything beat the ratio in quark.

Ugh i need to find this somewhere in croatia

NL here too. Greek yoghurt indeed hasn't that much protein.

>full of sugars too.
>what is lactose

Which one is heavia
A kilogrammee of feathes or a kilogramme of steele
Thas righ. The milogramme of steele is heavia

Since I am a Scandi we have skyr pretty much everywhere, also fuck off if you write "Skyr" capitalised in the middle of a sentence, do you also write Yoghurt, or Spoon capitalised?

noh
they're both a kilogramme

taste like ass. would rather eat cottage cheese.

If you have a Lidl near you they have this 250g packs of kvark. Strawberry or peach. Very nice snack.

Arla er lort champ

MAJSTORE Imaš u lidlu skyr sve okuse

All that shit is in 200g worth

B-but steels heavia than feathers

We don't soeek Icelandic how the fuck do we know if its the product name or just an Icelandic word? As far as we know its capital on the product.

I eat quark, for Skyr I have to go a supermarket that's a bit far so fuck that.

Skye is the same as kvark, yoghurt etc. Just a kind of milk product.

you don't actually eat harzer roller, it's a meme. it's basically not for consumption as disgusting as it is

>American
>traditional
Pick one. Our milk is basically just sugar water

I'm pretty sure I've seen it in my moms fridge

some people are cheese freaks

so are those coconut and almonds milk
>2% almond content

lmao

Fuck the fat free meme. Where can I get sugar free, moderate fat yoghurt?

I hate quark, will I hate skyr too?

We're starting to get it in Spain but yeah it's pretty new here and you can't find it everywhere.

Do you think there is some correlation between greek yogurt+whey. Im getting a lot of small bumps and acne on my forehead and I never had that problem, dunno if its caused by that

Quark is a german bastardization of Twaróg (pronounced tvaroog). It's a polish cheese. I get your reservation, but once you realize you actually are eating something that sounds like a name of an orc chieftain it's not so bad.

someone had a kilo of skyr in my class. absolute king

>just finished my bowl of TVOROG mixed with SMETANA

Attached: 1468982678738.jpg (216x233, 14K)

Based and slavpilled

look at all these different flavored skyrs

Attached: 20190826_153124.jpg (2672x1633, 2.92M)

This roll of 200g of goodness costs 1,60 Euroschekels. So yeah, nothing beats Quark budget-wise.
I thought so as well, especially the one without mold stinks like hell and tastes like ass. But this one from harzbube is pretty amazing, especially if you let it go ripe for one week in your fridge. Quäse is also ok

I love cheese but sadly harzer isn't optimal. See

Way too much salz, almost 4%. Can't stomach that

It reeks like sweaty rancid feet. For real. It will zyklon your refrigerator. You can try buying it if you live alone, otherwise it is not worth the inevitable fight.

>plastic spoon in each
extremely haram

just call it topfen or are you a saupreuß?

I remember when all the normies thought greek yogurt was a magical weight loss yogurt.

>picture of a kidney with a meme face on it

Pour honey in it, thank me later.
inb4 carbs - two teaspoons for a pound are enough

>not adding EEZYUM or KURAGA or both
Wasted opportunity to get in some fiber too
