/Britfeel/
Gonna email my local guitar exchange shop for some work. I've been playing under a year and know the basics of gear but I'm willing to and want to learn
eating popcorn for breakfast
mad lad

*puts on some religous music*
youtube.com
Blessings to all the lads in the thread
*waves around incense*
Quite like Ed Balls t b h
Exercise muscles
You fall in love with lonely, you end up that way.
why do you like Ed balls
a levels in 3 weeks lads
>a levels in 3 weeks
how old are you
my age is 18 years old
Seems like he has a level of humility other politicians don't possess
dropped out of cambridge lads
*revs up his petrol lawnmower*
Just got an admin job at a small office full of women.
How do I not come across a completely autistic loser?
working in london is the dream
Why's that? Pay has got to be the only reason
>Having no money due to insane rent
>House sharing
>Black snot from using the underground
>Getting stabbed
No thx
*puts laundry on the 1400rpm spin cycle*
that would be my hell. can't cope with big citys tbqh
33k but this is my first job out of london and i'm still going to be living at home (with my parents in south london, about half an hour commute to where i work in central london)
hopefully after a few years when i'm earning more i'll be able to afford to rent closer to central london.
>inhale like a weeks worth of pollution in a day
>exorbitant prices on everything
>everywhere is rammed with people, mostly minorities
>constant loud noise of construction, traffic and sirens
Yep, living the dream mate
reckon most people who criticise living in london on here are just coping because they could never afford to live here
Lads who live in places that end in Shire SEETHING
no I genuinely don't understand the appeal
fair enough but i wouldn't want to live anywhere else other than maybe paris or montreal
I'm so glad our government saw sense and is allowing Huawei to participate in the rollout of 5G
were you born in a big city?
Xi poster is also one of the best Britfeel personalities and his posts always make me cackle. Uh I mean average British man poster
Any got the pics then???
I don't get it, if you enjoy city life and don't mind pakis just move to Bradford, it's about 1/6th as expensive
Wouldn't want to be anywhere else lad
I'm not the same feller. I already live in London town
London feels like a different country
>out of london
out of uni lol not london
I've lived in london and while it was good I wouldnt be able to justify the cost nowadays.
Paris is a complete shithole now lad, nobody in their right minds would elect to live there
no i'm from county durham
had no intention of ever living in london until i did an internship and never wanted to leave
i can afford to live here tho and i barely even notice the pakis
i go every year lol unironically one of my favourite places on the planet
If you can afford to live there you can afford to live in Birmingham, have all the benefits of city life and have a lower cost of living
have a soft spot for durham desu lads
Bradford is minuscule compared to London.
people always say things like this lol but it doesn't compare to living in london imo
I fully admit living all your life in london would be grim because you have to escape from the ratrace and into the country at some point it's just urban life is so much more interesting than rural
>cities are all the same
this is only said by ignorant people desu southampton vs london is night a day really
how are there already flies in my flat? It's barely even summer yet
I'm from London and live in Soton for Uni and it's not too dissimilar. I love Southampton
Is Birmingham 'rural life' though? London is a bizarre anomaly. It's no different from any other large city over 250,000 in terms of what is has to offer, yet it's drastically more expensive.
Beyond s few tourist gimmicks like the London eye and Buckingham palace what does it have that birmingham doesn't?
*parks in a fashion that makes it slighlty awkward for lads to enter and exit the thread car park*
lol didn't mean birmingham was rural life i was making a seperate point sorry for being unclear
*leaves a passive aggressive note on the windscreen*
Mate it's the financial capital of the UK and Europe too. That doesn't mean that much to me or you but it's a big deal.
Plus it's LONDON. think of the culture, history and all the happenings that have happened in the city. It's renowned for reasons
new springsteen track is amazing lads here's the lyrics from it, quite relatable:
Had enough of heartbreak and pain
I had a little sweet spot for the rain
For the rain and skies of gray
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
You know I always liked my walking shoes
But you can get a little too fond of the blues
You walk too far, you walk away
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
You know I always loved a lonely town
Those empty streets, no one around
>You fall in love with lonely, you end up that way
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
You know I always liked that empty road
No place to be and miles to go
But miles to go is miles away
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
And miles to go is miles away
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
Hello sunshine, won't you stay
Hello sunshine
What a typical British thing to do : D gonna post this on r/casualuk ha ha but first a cup of tea ;D
Yeah of course if you work as an investment banker or something working in London is essential but for the average person doing a job you could do elsewhere I don't see the attraction.
What possesses a person to live in a box room in a flatshare there rather than a house in Bristol/Liverpool/Manchester
*shows it to the other neighbours to get them on my side*
youtube.com
this is my favourite springsteen song
only 146 days until autumn :3
London has about 10 times the arts, culture, sports, music events compared to Birmingham.
Add to that more specialist outlets in terms of shopping and larger versions of stores available elsewhere
More parks.
A tube system that makes it completely and utterly different in terms of getting around compared to any other city in the U.K.
The only girls that have ever liked me were the teachers in secondary school
Is it easy to get away with noncing in London?
>the arts, culture, sports, music events
Because London is exceptionally cool mate. Bristol is lovely but its no London. Haven't been to Manchester so I can't compare. I live in NW London and I have the city on my doorstep. There's so much to do that it can't be beaten
London is great honestly. I would love to be able to afford to live there but I can't. Depends entirely on what you want to do though.
There are so many different pubs with ranges for all tastes. All the free museums. The west end shows. The countless events happening all year round. The mixture of people you will meet is so much more interesting.
If you are going to literally spend all your time in your room on your computer then yeah sure you won't see the attraction because you can do that anywhere.
But London is really incomparable to any other city in the UK.
>There's so much to do that it can't be beaten
Yet here you are sat Inside shitposting on britfeel, you could do that on the Shetland Islands
>Bristol is lovely
I'm mobile posting lad. I'm on the go
>All the free museums. The west end shows. The countless events happening all year round
Just a train ride away
Getting the tube all over London is not really comparable to the pleb experience of getting a mainline train in to London.
This. Also imagine funding private trains companies
It's less than an hour into London for me, if I want to do niche London things I can't do elsewhere I can just get the train in without having to live there
>the west end shows
these are the people that go to west end shows
>Also imagine funding private trains companies
who is that with moni?
>not enough edits of this
OC lads pull your fingers out your arses
>train is clean
>higher class of people
>staff gives me biscuits and water
vs
>dirty stations and carriages
>black snot
>lower class of people
>absolutely wank as far as metros go
Usually fedoras defend privatisation and muh free markets lad
I live right next to London in Surrey and it's awful compared to Surrey. I even spent a year living in Orpington and that was also shit.
Noise, pollution, non-whites and their lack of English, prices, the general attitude of people there, overcrowded, public transport etc. It's just a dreadful city. Unless you're a tourist there's no reason to go there.
They have better things to do than inflate their egos even more
>Absolutely wank
Huh? The tube is utterly reliable what are you on lad?
Dirty stations are caused by the fact they're underground lad. The particles can't escape into the air so stick to the stations.
That's her boyfriend, a lad from here.
dreaming about cola BACKING that ass up on me knob
>London mongs
relevant news story about london tube and bus stations
bbc.co.uk
>Dirty stations are caused by the fact they're underground lad. The particles can't escape into the air so stick to the stations.
This is not an issue I've had with the other metros I've used
Last day of toil before I get ONE well deserved day of rest
Not my bf (unfortunately)
London is just a steaming, dirty ruin of its former glory
the Orcs have made themselves at home and defecate where they want.
Have you considered how old the tube is? Some of the stations are pre-war and built of materials that aren't actually the best to use. Dirt sticks more to them and is more visible. The Taipei metro is barely 30 years old
>post about London mongs
>reaction pic is a London mong
You may not be from London lad, but you are a mong
>The film itself was fine, not as good as the previous one, it was too long and there wasn't enough fighting.
Oh I guess this makes it acceptable to be breathing in literaly poison every time I use the tube. Let's not do anything about it.
I'm not wrong, I'm just stating facts
>it's old so it's okay for it to be bad
does anyone here bake? i need a 'progression guide' of sorts. i made focaccia last weekend, what should i make today?
He only visits London when he absoIutely has to, like a civilised person
>London
bbc.co.uk
This is the sort of self-absorbed, pretentious attitudes of people living in London. To think that a baby or mentally infirm person would even understand what a theatre is let alone understand any content of the show is absurd.
They literally live in a bubble, far removed from the real world.
Bake a colomba di pasqua for the lads
Start with a syrup sponge cake
Baking is so gay.
The government has no dosh to employ hundreds more cleaners to clean the hundreds of stations or money to build and replace every old one. Do you lads even think eh?
