When was the last time you went to the movies?
I'm going to go solo for the first time soon, seems daunting.

21 never been to a movie and dont plan to ever go
Let's go together then, we can get sweet popcorn
It's not bad at all. I always went alone to the movies. After all what's the point to go with someone when you are basically going there to watch a movie. People talk about what the movie was about anyway, no one is interested whether you went to see it with someone or not.
I always throw shit at the lonely spergs, they never do anything about it
Blade runner 2049.
I was 20.
Never had a chance to go to the cinema again.
Going alone don't feel right.
Don't you have a favourite game/novel that could be adapated though?
I prefer the pick and mix to popcorn but a kind offer nevertheless.
Is it as you say, I doubt anyone even notices someone alone if it's a full crowd for a new release anyway. Your mind plays tricks though, I hate the thought of being next to a group who can see the situation plainly.
>Don't you have a favourite game/novel that could be adapated though?
i'll just buy the blu ray or watch it online
Where do you live, Jannu poster?
Let's go together
Fair point. Seeing it when it comes out gives a slight hope you can be social and discuss it with people though. Not that it ever happens but it makes you feel part of current events.
Northern Europe. I would very much like to have a friend to watch Detective Pikachu with.
What city in Northern Europe??
Quints demanding!
How many Jeannes do you have, OP?
Last year I think, invited my family because we were bored.
This year there's no money to invite them and they're all Netflix slaves anyway
Nah, I always sit in the top row next to the stairs so I can leave as soon as the credits roll. Plus I go there 10 mins in advance so I can secure my spot.
The last time I went to movies with my parents was 1.5 years ago when Blade runner was released(my birthday is in October)
The last time I went alone was somewhere around the same time when I went to Kimi no Na wa(wish I didn't go tb.h)
Ah I assumed you were American, sorry to get your hopes up. All alone in Edinburgh.
824 I feel have potential for imageboard purposes. In general I'm not sure, they're saved in all sort of folders.
You must have a nice, in-sync family to have done it at one point though . I've always associated it as a friend activity.
I thought you meant other Northern Europe, I'm too far from you >.
I usually go to the movies with my dad and brother. If it's something they don't want to see, I'll just go by myself. I don't frequently go to the movies, but if it's something that looks good I'll go. I never understood why people have such a hard time going to the movies by themselves. It's really not a big deal.
You seem like a curious boy OP. If I were back in England I'd brave our shitty train system to go watch a bad pokemon film with you.
I went yesterday by myself to watch End Game. Almost everyone else was in a group, but what's the point of watching a movie, in the theaters, as a group when you can't talk during the viewing?
Sorry to disappoint, it's rare to ever see euro anons in touching distance, sadly.
An irraitonal fear of hecklers really. Or not so irrational, some places can be rough. The stereotype of a giggling group of young viewers being meanspirited must exist for a reason.
I appreciate the sentiment but not the end part. The movie will suprise us for sure. You should go catch it wherever you live!
Go during matinee
2015 I think
It's an irrational fear of mine, I hate being alone in public because it's basically broadcasting to everyone there that I'm a loser. Which means I hardly ever go out in public since I don't have many friends and don't do anything with them much
I don't know much outside of passing knowledge but that was the finale of a trilogy with lots of main characters IIRC. Something like that could warrant a fun discussion right after the movie over a meal.
I didn't even know there was a word for that, danke.
I'm not really a pokemon player myself so I think I'll skip it but I hope you enjoy it when it comes out.
That is unfortunate. If you have a Switch Sword/Shield would be a great place to try and get more into it. With the supposed UK-inspired region it would be perfect for possible home-sickness you may feel in the future.
Yeah, I am going to get that. I never really played pokemon 'cause I never really had a system for it but now that I have a switch I'm looking forward to grabbing one of those.
yesterday to watch endgame, it was nice but i really wanted to pee by the end of it
that was also my first time going alone
