Sneed feed and seed
Formerly Chuck’s fuck and suck

Probably the same as most other nations but not as skinny as a Russian soldier

He's not Wehrmacht. In general, SS men (at the beginning of the war) had requirements to get in, some of them being quite stringent (no false teeth, over 6 foot for Hitler's bodyguard). Generally they were a cut above the rest, except for SS leaders, which Wehrmacht generals often lamented was a loss of the best manpower.

Average Wehrmacht soldier at the end would've been a conscript, and average SS soldier at the end could've been anyone from all over europe, including lithuanian, estonian, latvian, french, italian etc.

>asks about the Wehrmacht posts ss
They were pretty solid at the beginning of the war but after battles at the eastern front it all went down hill. They went from the average Arno Breker sculpture to lanklet track athletes

There are still a few you can ask.

I know, my grandfathers, one italian and one british soldier, spoke highly of the germans that they'd had the chance to meet before and after the war. There is one bad story that my italian grandfather gave from 1943 but there were reasons for that. Sadly both of them are resting in peace now.

Wasn't Italy just a comedy relief character?

'The German soldier has impressed the world, but the Italian soldier has impressed the German Soldier' - Erwin Rommel.

In general, Italy did not have a lot of morale for the war, and they had bad equipment, but the soldiery themselves weren't bad. They performed admirably in certain areas, like for example the charge at Izhbushensky on the Eastern front.

Its navy wasn’t. But yeah, it lacked the support of most of the country, which wasn’t the case with Germany (one big strong proud nation, at the time of course). Lacked discipline, good generals, training, etc etc

Their optimal weight corresponded with their height at an estimated 15% body fat.
They did lots of calisthenics and natural strength lifting via hiking/marching with gear. Cardio was done as well with hiking/marching.

TIL even Hitler worked out. Apparently he used some kind of arm extender machine because he wanted to develop his biceps.

What is optimal weight for 5'10" guy according to them?

Great endurance, which is the most important attribute on the battlefield.

together with bucketloads of pervitin.

After most of them got fucked to death the only ones left were 15 year old skinny conscripts.
Lots of genetic factors can go into this that could change the optimal weight
