Sprinting will actually help you build muscle. (Just dont go overboard)
It's when you do long distance training (marathon training) -all you do is cardio... then you will struggle more to put on muscle.
no i do distance runs mixed with sprints along with my workouts and i went from 115 hungry skeleton to 145 skeleton but i had to eat a fuckload
