Not OP, but would Jow Forums be for requesting advice? I'm very much for keeping boards differentiated from each other, but it seems bizarre to start this thread on Jow Forums

i cancelled my gym membership and decided to train in the park
don't need much equipment anyway
I lift to get better at climbing, so pullups, dips, muscle ups, pistol squats and dead hangs is all I do
I'm in a relationship for a while now but I finally gave up porn a few weeks ago, now jacking off to my imagination. Definitely in a better place now.

I take cold showers in the morning and hots in at night.
I also have eliminated soda from my diet

Honestly fuck the mods, jannies, and their benefactors. Sig has always been a part of the Jow Forums community. The fact that they are fragmenting a group of people pisses me off but whatever.

So I got surgery on my knee. The pain was horrible and practically unbearable yesterday after the surgery. But then I went to bed for the day and while it did take me two hours to get to bed and I woke up twice to go to the bathroom, it doesn't hurt as much now. Thank God. And I'm not even on that vicodin they gave me (but I've been popping that shit like candy, I had 4 yesterday in a 8 hour time period)

They got me wrapped up in all these bandages and I can't shower or anything till tomorrow and even then it's gonna be a chore. Can't shit either. The vikes will do that to you.

Basically the problem ended up being that I tore my meniscus and had to get part of it removed. Now, I was TOLD that I had to get it removed and I'd be back before I knew it. BUT I don't know if that's what happened. My doctor seems to have told my mom that he did something to try and repair it too (so the recovery is more complete but it takes about 6 months). So honestly I have no idea what he did - I pretty much told him "just make me better" but now I'm regretting not asking more questions.

So here I am. I can't work out. I can't do shit. I can pretty much only watch TV and play video games and read books. I can do things that allow me to extend my leg and elevate my knee. This fucking SUCKS brehs. But I know that this short term pain will eventually lead to long term health in my knee. It's just like everything else in /sig/, it sucks in the meantime but it ultimately will make you better in the end.

Sorry senpai. Knees are weak shit, I hate them. Just rest and resist the urge to train yourself like some autistic anime hero that flexes out of a cast and gets better 3 months early, not that I'm speaking from experience or anything but real humans need to actually rest and heal.

It sucks, but as you heal you will learn to appreciate little things so much more than before the injury
