When we evolved and developed into hunter-gatherers, there's a reward system set up in our very core and it's not being fulfilled by modern society and it's one of the things that is causing depression
We're living our lives in very unfulfilling ways. We're sitting in boxes with artificial lights and do things we don't want to do only to end up mentally exhausted. Meanwhile we're eating shit. We're eating potato chips and drinking soda and our bodies are screaming "What the fuck is this? We're supposed to be out in the fields, walking up hills, looking for animals and gathering plants. We're supposed to be in nature!" and nature is like a medicine
Just go hike ontop of a mountain and look out, there will be a reward that is intensely soul-filling
ooga grooga is all nice and dandy until you get ooga groogad. betcha youll wish to be sitting in front of your pc when your brain comes out your ears.
Nicholas Richardson
Incels sitting in front of their PC's are the only ones having their brain comes out of their ears as they shoot themselves from anxiety and depression.
Blake Bailey
>he thinks hed be at the top of the ladder
kek, almost like commies thinking theyll be chairman
Jack Powell
What ladder are you talking about? My time in nature is generally in solitude unless I manage to bring a friend out fishing.
Jonathan Jackson
its ture, but who the fuck can afford to eat healthy or spend time outside? american society is built off of a focus on labor.
But no seriously. Go do it. Exercise is good for you.
Henry King
im talking the bashing other males over the head ladder. the most natural of them all. >B..BUT NOT THAT ASPECT OF LIVING AS OOGA OOGA !!!!
Juan Miller
people got to the top of the food chain mostly from their ability to adapt to change one can still involve themselves in physical activity (in a room, not even outside) at the same time have a healthy life stuck infront of light boxes and dealing with social media without health problems find your balance nigger
Blake Ramirez
You've still not mentioned what ladder you are talking about
Cooper Miller
the ladder of being, the chain of being ,dominance hierarchy, the pyramid whatever you want to call it... the ranks of physical dominance. dont play dumb and semantics with me, you know exactly what im talking about
Colton Walker
Randomly killing someone while you're out hiking literally has no benefit, you're not climbing any hierarchy by doing so.
Luke Cooper
If you think the human brain only cares about physical exercise and not the entire environment and context of it, you're a brainlet.
Brayden Price
im removing a genetic and food competitor from my area. and im getting some new clothes. and i can possible rape his wife and daughters and make them bear my seed. fuck your stoneage beta fantasy nigger. why do you think humans evolved to be so intelligent, because the weaker guys always hiked in peace ? the modern world is the single reason your ass exists and wont find a painful death over some berries.
Luke Rogers
I understand the context but frankly complaining we cant anprim is a pointless endeavour
Connor Bailey
How is he a competitor? He literally pays taxes for your right to be in nature lmao
The only reason humans enjoy violence is because they enjoy hunting and to protect their tribe. Your tribe is not under threat.
Cameron Reed
ok you are legitimately retarded. see ya round plant
Carter Long
Who said anything about Anarchism?
Kayden Reyes
not him but humans have always looked after their sick and weak regardless of gain or loss. that's what makes us different from other animals, stupid.
Isaac Gutierrez
THEIR sick and weak. what if your at the other end of the stick ? and even if your at care. your weak. you wont fucking procreate. dont you idiots get it ? its hell if your not chad. kinda like today huh ? except you dont have to endure physical pain. and dying at 40. you have to endure depresso and boohoo. so bad. idiots.
Luke Myers
Are you retarded? Unironically what is your IQ?
If this was the case why aren't all these uncontacted tribes killing each other? They seem to have almost no conflicts.
Could it be that this modern hierarchy doesn't exist in a place where one isn't needed? Were not apes after all, these low IQ niggers are less aggressive to each other than even the lowest of the low testosterone onions boys are to each other.
John Cook
>just go on a hike bro
Brandon Rivera
You're the one arguing against a straw man, brainlet. Nothing about co-existing and having laws and police requires obesity, spending 9 hours in an office and your entire life in urban areas consuming media.
Matthew Foster
You fucking moron, this is why the Neanderthals went extinct.
Survival of the kindest not the fittest you literal chimpanzee. It's ironic isn't it? That a chimpanzee understands how to live with others better than you do.
Also you're the only one living in a fantasy not us.
Justin Brooks
holy fuck you morons literally believe this. you actually believe humans are good. you probably believe we are in the mess we are right now because of some conspiracy. that its not human will manifest. look around you; this is our destiny. trash
Jacob Williams
You run away and go somewhere else. Why do you think humans ended up outside of Africa? They ran away from the aggressive chimps like you who only think about violence and how to not get killed.
Kayden Johnson
>I-It's my destiny to spend my entire life by the computer as an incel
It's not. Your unconscious wants you to do something else with your life.
Isaac Bennett
its our collective destiny to be at the point we are now. governed by the one and only law: causality. its just as natural. you are chasing an false idol.
im not saying this world is good btw
Ayden Clark
>collective destiny No such thing, individuals can change society in pretty radical ways and they have done so forever. If one person decided to be a defeatist like you our world might be very different.
Luis Nguyen
anyone getting into a position where he could seriously have a chance at toppling this whole giant cancer machine running this earth at the moment would get murdered. no questions asked. were not talking one country or business here. but the entire monopoly game. hed be removed. which brings my whole argument to a perfect circle. namaste.
Gavin Howard
Why would anyone even try to do that? Focus on yourself more and less on the entire world. Noone is going to get murdered because they decide to spend time in nature and consume less.
Wyatt Long
i dont care about consumption because i dont care about the world. its your own logic. and i do like to be in nature. im just a philosopher, i like talking about grand morals and schemes. c ya round pal
Brayden Lopez
You decided to change the direction of the thread because you'd rather argue against a straw man than what is actually presented in the OP
Kayden Nguyen
SEE MY FUCKING POINT IS SAYING WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUT IN THE FORESTS IS LIKE SAYING WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE OUT THERE PILLAGING AN ENEMY VILLAGE. YOU IDIOTS DONT SEEM TO GET THAT OUR PHYSICAL SECURITY IS INHERENTLY TIED TO OUR INDUSTRIALIZED WORLD. OR YOU SIMPLY REFUSE TO ACCEPT THAT FACT.
Ryan Parker
We(and pretty much anything else) have evolved to work towards tangible, definite rewards.
Thats why physical labour with a definite end goal(like constructing something) is the most rewarding - What you do has a definite purpose and end goal; after physically demanding activity there is a real end product, a feeling of accomplishment and a period of rest as reweards. Much of modern work is contrary to that, neither physically demanding nor having a satisfying end product. Sitting in your ass all day in an office or doing the same thing all the time with no tangible goal or end product that you can feel takes away the feeling of accomplishment.
I personally think that's a big reason for the rise of easy reward/accomplishment things like social media, and why mental illness is increasing. Despite life standards being much shittier in the past work you have done had a definitive reward to it, even if it was just staying alive. Modern work environments offer too little of that so people look for that elsewhere or start being silly.
BUT OH WE ARENT MISSING THE RAPING PART. THAT PART WE JUST IGNORE. THAT ISNT IMPORTANT TO MEN. JUST BREATHING THE FOREST AIR, THATS ALL THATS PROGRAMMED INTO US. NOT THE RULING AND RAPING. WE CAN SKIP THAT PART BECAUSE THAT PART WE DONT LIKE ANYMORE. WE DONT NEED MORE OF THAT IN OUR SOCIETY. BUT THAT SPECIAL SELECTED PART OF BEING OUT IN NATURE OF OUR PAST, WE LIKE THAT ONE. BUT NOT THE FIGHTING ON A BATTLEFIELD PART. UH UH SWEATY
Lucas Diaz
Society is not going to collapse because you decide to spend more time in nature hiking, fishing and hunting instead of shitposting on r9k
In fact, almost all our industry is dedicated towards the accumulation of personal wealth and consumtion - not security. Security in general is an extremely small part of why humans work and live the way they do
Matthew Lopez
On the contrary, I think you're neglecting the way a status threat can be viewed with the same gravity as a physical threat. I have white trash relatives and I'd rather die than live like they do - this isn't a rational thought, these people get more than enough food, but because I feel like I was raised with certain privileges, losing them would be the same as being exiled from my own tribe. I'm more kin to other yuppies than I ever will be with rednecks who are my own flesh and blood.
Justin Reyes
I think you missed the point he was trying to make completely. You can't cherry-pick the nice parts about human nature, if you're saying we should do something because its "natural" then that includes all the bad parts of human nature as well. Saying you can heal yourself by doing what's natural should go both ways, good and bad, or not at all.
Connor Morris
>You can't cherry-pick the nice parts about human nature Of course I can. That sounds like the perfect way of attaining true happiness
Chase Brown
>this is why the Neanderthals went extinct. prove it fag
Landon Powell
Based and comprehensive. Good on (you) for not being a retard. I do the same (cherry pick) with Torah and the teachings of rabbinical patriarchy
