I've been lifting for 7 or 8 months and I'm still at 55. Takes me months to add 2.5kg (my gym lightest plates are 1.25, so i can't add less), so I doubt I'll be able to lift even 70 in a year.

Kinda same, i'm 69kg though. Started benching in late February with 25kg, now at 57.5 4x4. My squat, deadlift and even OHP has been progressing satisfyingly, but bench just kills me, i'm struggling so much. Even when i warm up with 40kg it starts to get hard after like 8 reps. I'll be so happy if i get to 80kg by the end on my second year.
