For a protein to become denatured just means that it loses its shape, which is what you're seeing when you cook the egg and it turns from a liquid to a solid. The shape of the protein makes no difference to your body because it is only going to break the protein down to its base unit, amino acids. So the claim that denatured proteins can't be utilized is bullshit.

This is also a crazy misunderstanding of what protein denaturation is. Protein denaturation is a change in the structure, but regardless of the structure change protein is still broken into amino acids through digestion. These amino acids are the same regardless of the structure.

body does not absorb protein, it absorbs amino acids, which means the protein has to be broken down first.
In many cases, denaturating the protein makes it easier to break it down, especially so in egg protein case. Because of that, protein raw egg has bioavailability of 56%, while cooked is ~95% bioavailable. Look it up.
