post progress and achievements you have made

I weighed in today at 157. so I've lost nearly 21 pounds now. I think I'm going to cut down to 150 and start bulking up.

Since I started lifting I've went from 200 lbs to 178, I'm able to bench 1pl8 now :)

I was really apprehensive about starting my first cut 2 weeks ago but I like what I'm seeing and have put on more muscle than I thought I did

Took a year off the gym due to mental health, been back every day for two months, literally everyday, this isnt about gains, its about my mental health.

Even if i sit on a leg curl and post here, im getting into a routine. Slowly becoming less disgusted with myself

Good for you mate, but try to be less hard on yourself. Pobodys nerfect

I lost 29 lbs doing keto and going for walks at night

good job user. do you have a goal weight?

Ran a sub 7 min mile today. First ever. I've been running about 20 miles a week for three months or so now, happy with the progress

I started at 236 and now I'm 207. I want to get down to 180

I started at 197 and I’m down to 184. Been slow but progress is progress. I can now do 8 pull ups. I’m having a blast getting back in the gym again.

Y'all motherfuckers keep at it, 4 years ago I was 250 lbs, 3 years ago I was 150, we can all make it

I've actually done it once before, but I was trying to impress a girl, so when she turned me down I got depressed and gained it all back. Now I'm doing it because I'm tired of looking like shit

Great job anons.
I went from 148lbs to 162lbs in the last 3 months. Undoubtedly gained some fat, but I'm stronger in all lifts, and my butt, shoulders, and back are noticeable a bit bigger. Looking forward to continue bulking.

thank you brother I’ll keep at it. I want to get back down to my freshman year of college weight. (150ish)

I was a big editor and sharer of porn on discord, 8ch, and on gif. I had a collection of porn edits on mega that was 30 something gbs. Last day I deleted all my accounts and erased all the porn on my hdd and online and deleted all the porn logins I was gifted from cucks on discord. I haven't looked back yet and I don't plan on it.

from a guy who took on too much fat in his first bulk; slow down. You want as much muscle as possible before you cut to reap the benefits

this is what making it looks like

Any tips on how to manage a slow but steady bulk? I'm scared that if I stop my current rate of growth, I'll just maintain or even lose weight.

I'm 6'1, so even at 162lbs I'm still really skinny.

Just got to 2 sets of 5 with 225lbs I was able to go ATG on 1 during the first set and 2 during the second set. The other reps I went parallel then did 2 sets of 15 @ 135 lbs. and OHP x 1 @ 135 lbs. I look aesthetic but I feel like I'm getting stronger even after I've stopped bulking and starting a slow cut.

Read the sticky and use scoobys calculator. The sweet spot for a lean bulk is to gain no more than 0.5-1 pound of body weight each week. If you're gaining more than that decrease your caliories by 100 and watch for changes until you find what works.

I gained 20 lbs before I started my cut. You don't wanna gain too much far because cutting sux once you get used to eating more.

This year I cut 50 pounds. 220 to 170 and the weighted sit ups are paying off with how my abs are coming in. And a girl I worked with a few years back says she wants to jump my bones, so that's nice.

Is the amount of weight gain before cutting important? For example, I'm 6'1 and bulked 14lbs to 162 so far, but I'm still skinny with not a ton of bf. So should I just bulk until I'm not skinny any more basically, even if that means a huge weight gain like 50lbs total, or if you gain 30ish pounds, should you do a bit of a cut before continuing? Hope that made sense.

~3 months into lifting finally hit 1pl8 on bench and hit 2pl8 on deadlift ez after switching from double overhand to mixed

Well done user. Nothing on upper body day feels better than repping two plates or more on bench.

I reached a 7 year old goal today Jow Forums and benched 315. We're all gonna make it boys.

Well I was really lean and at 20lbs of extra bf I started losing that really cut six pack look so that was the point I started cutting. In 3 months I gained 20 lbs. Around 1.6 lbs a 2week. Some people like to BLOATMAXX but I want to stay looking good with my shirt off, its a mental thing but I feel good so that's the main thing to me. This is a marathon not a Sprint so just make sure you stay healthy and keep good form so you can continue to lift

Fasting is definitely working, but I keep failing and caving to eat with others. When I do eat I eat a lot, so abstaining completely has helped a ton.

The positivity comes in here. I'll never stop, this fasting thing has definitely opened a door that cannot be closed. I'm getting so much better and my digestion is so much less turbulent. I think I'm actually gonna make it guys.

Thanks Jow Forums. You've been the best sons of bitches I've ever met.

Today i was gifted a candy, i unwrapped it and before tossing it into my mouth i returned it. It may be small but is not about quantity is about maintaining a firm stance.

Last time I did angled leg press I maxed out at 7x10x316lbs (July 10th).

Noticed bottleneck was cardio (squats and leg press require a fuckton of blood to be pumped to legs).

Been doing stairmaster and 30-40mim weighted incline walks (up to +70lbs) and dumbbell squats I'm rep range of 50s (carrrying 40lb dbs) since then.

Just now tried angle leg press again today.
Blew previous max out of water.

3x5x416lb
3x15x346lb

I only stopped because feet were hurting (I dont have proper form?....lots of pressure put on balls of feet when doing angled leg press instead of heels like a squat).

I MASSIVELY overtrained on cardio. I didnt even break a sweat Heart Rate never went above 170bpm.
Pure muscle limitation....I'm gonna make shitloads of leg gains.

I'm in a similar boat mate. 5 weeks back and I already look and feel better. Never give it up, make it a foundation of a healthier lifestyle.

if youre on the road a lot, just imagine andrew wk trying to find a fitness center literally every day he's on the road, and eventually just making his own

AYY LMAO SPASIBA JIREN

I do a lot of fasting but have an active social life. What works best for me is going for as long a fast I can, and planning around events. For instance, I have a relative coming into town and I'm not going to be an asshole and not eat with him when he gets here. So I'm fasting through the week, and I'll probably break it early Friday so I can be ready to have dinner with him that night.
If something unplanned comes up I politely tell people that I'm fasting and that while I would love to eat, I cannot. Be straight with people, it's not like you're hiding a drug habit. Just tell people what you're up to and they'll get over it.

For me, mostly it seems to work out to week-day fasting. Go figure.

¿Que?
