Preferred tea

Hey Jow Forums I'm looking for a coffee substitute. Something that has more of a health benefit and I've actually been looking at white tea. Would it be better and cheaper just to drink green/gunpowder tea though?

Matcha

Looks good, how do you feel after drinking it?

>health benefit
Stop. Any supposed health benefits to (green) tea are so damn minuscule they are probably just statistical errors. Stop taking your health advice from headlines. If you're drinking tea for "Health benefits" it's just a waste of money and time. That said it's fun to have some variety, drinking nothing but water is a bore. That's why I drink tea.

>Gunpowder
Gunpowder sucks. I tried many different kinds of green tea and the only green tea that's drinkable are ones that came from japan: Sencha, Kukicha, Gyokuro, Genmaincha.

From the black teas I tried I like Yunnan gold and Keemun.

White tea sucks.

Does it matter on the supplier/brand or do most of those Japanese teas taste the same?

yuuki-cha.com has good shit

i'm kind of retarded, if you buy tea with a special kind of flavor like orange, is it dried oranges or just "base tea" with added flavouring?

Based.

It's like any nuanced thing. Do all medium roast Ethiopian coffees taste the same? Do all Mendozan Malbecs of a given year taste the same?

Sweet, thanks bro.

usually flavoured "teas" like peppermint, orange, chamomile, berry, etc are really just herbal infusions, without any tea leaves in them.

Earl Grey. Hot

Darjeeling black tea, straight

If you buy green tea make sure it's from Japan and not China since they grow their tea next to polluting coal plants you don't want that shit in your body

Sometimes I’ll make it into an Arnold Palmer.

Never liked the taste of it myself. Tried it once because I wondered why they made the Cpt. Picard character like it. Then I found recently it’s basically flavored with flower oil (bergamot). Just sounds quintessentially English cause of the Earl Gray name.

Eat shit faggot, Earl Grey is GOAT.
Though English breakfast is my #2.

Depends on the brands so you should check the ingredients. Surprisingly enough, artificial flavourings have a weaker taste than natural ingredients.
If you want to drink something really flavourful, I recommend Kusmi Tea (a bit expensive but delicious). Twinnings tea is good too.

builders or fuck off

acceptable substitute. engage.

How much cream and sugar do you put in it? Great way to build up your fat stores for a cold English winter, that buildr’s tea is. Hope you got low-fat substitutes.

If you are an actual builder 5 scoops minimum, else no sugar just a little milk.

Grated ginger (frozen) and orange zest filtered through a fine sieve.

Im a fan of smokey tea, Lapsang souchong, also russian caravan blend for a more subtle smoke. especially good when fasting because it feels more filling

it totally matters. the tea is the variety of leaf, but different brand could use different quality leaves and have different processes. teas are processed by heating and rolling, so there is different variables in between picking and packing which can have a huge effect.

buy tribulus or hibiscus i drink them every day... hibiscus in the morning and tribulus around lunch

OP here, I forgot to mention that:
I ooooooonly drink LGBTQ+ QUEEEEEEER! approved drinks :D
Yes that's right I LOVE queer drinks
I even put my bfs cum in it :)

Jasmine, especially if you can get it loose leaf.

Wow sounds very progressive I gotta try that, thanks!

Trust /ck/ about nothing. The board is literally just fast food enthusiasts and poor ass Europeans

>and poor ass Europeans
you caught me

I just drink black tea or any other tea with caffeine if I'm substituting it for coffee. I add a little honey

silver needle white tea. Most pure and potent tea there is. You will literally feel the energy surging through you when you start drinking it daily. In Chinese medicine, it is supposed to be pure "yang energy" so that would most likely be most beneficial for health and muscle growth.

I'd rather have poor ass Euros than the fast food enthusiasts, no worries user
