Should i do both pull ups and chin ups or just pull ups?
I do them on my pull day, pull 1 i do pull ups and pull 2 i do chin ups. Should i even do chin ups if i already do curls on both days?

close grip chin ups are too fun to not do them
Join the neutral grip master race
If you're tall/have long arms, pull ups. Otherwise, chin ups.
I focus on these
Tomato tomatoe
why is that?
Weighted chin ups + Barbell rows is the best mix
Can i skip both pull ups and chins if i do wieghted neutral grip pull ups?
It’s the same fucking thing. It makes absolutely no difference which one you do. Don’t listen to the retards who say otherwise.
No stupid questions thread, so I thought I might as well ask here since it's sort of related - I'm about to start doing SS, but I want to improve my pullups/situps/pushups. Should I add those exercises during one of the workout sets, or how would I go about incorporating those types of exercises in a axbxaxx barbell routine?
just do something consistently and keep at it
>mfw too fat and weak to do any of these
Wrong
Mix as much as you can. Wide pull ups chins, neutral grip etc
Get stronger and lose weight. Nobody starts out able to do everything. You will make it.
for back training, it really doesn't matter which you pick. The biggest difference is really in how they train your arms. Also, the way you perform them will make a difference (hollow body vs arch)
Supine barbell rows
Neutral grip weighted chins
Incline db curls
Pullups train your back through shoulder abduction and chin ups train it through shoulder extension, which is already going to be addressed through any standard rows you're doing unlike abduction, so do pullups probably.
do both faggot
For whatever muscle group you're hitting you should vary the exercise. The human body adapts to the given stimulus specifically, and so if you do one exercise exclusively, your body will become specialised to that particular movement.
t. pulluplet
it makes a difference, do both
Work core into your routine at the end of superset.
The other lifts will indirectly improve those though.
>this board unironically doesn't know the different between shoulder adduction and extension
what the fuck happened
this, apart from itll hit a different head of your bicep harder depending on which grip variant you use.
>underhand curls do the same thing as overhand curls
t. armlet
They're not the same thing at all. Pullups and chin ups activate your lats in completely different ways.
Just do the other varient as lat pulldowns
Pullups + close grip lat pulldowns
or
Chinups + lat pulldowns
you are fucking delusional, it's a common myth that they do but in fact and that has been proved with EMG they activated lats very similar
