I do an UB/LB split with one rest day between every third day.
I count my max as the weight that I am able to do three sets of 10reps with, while maintaining correct form. Does that change anything?

If thats the same standart for both then it doesnt change things. Look at it this way - the squat muscles are bigger than the bench muscles, your lower body is meant to support more weight and its disproportional to have the same lifts

Why are you doing a split if you're a beginner who only benches and squats one plate. you're slowing down your progress for no reason listening to bro advise. As a beginner you should be doing full body 3 times a week. Look up strong lifts and do that. Your squat should progress to 225 within half a year of starting to lift.
