dumbass, all protein has amino acids, ON just chooses not to use it as a marketing tool. Theres no more aminos in a 25g scoop of protein, than there is in a chicken breast, or eggs or steak. The amino breakdown is different, but to your digestive system, a complete protein is a complete protein, all the same.
I just choose not to use ON because its expensive for what it is. You can get equal quality blends of Whey for 10-20 dollars cheaper a tub.

most people who go to the gym to get stronger will see good gains with good form and progressive overload on compound lifts. when your daily energy expenditure increases, your appetite should increase. you'll get the protein you need simply from eating more. I would focus on losing weight first, but I've never been chubby or fat, so I have no idea. I started as a skeleton

helped two people today not bad. if you're seriously a beginner, I'd suggest saving some money for a trainer at whatever gym you go to. I had no clue what the fuck I was doing when I started, so I got 10 or 12 sessions with a trainer. I told him I wanted to get good at push ups, pull ups, and sit ups for the army physical fitness test, and he showed me how to do compound lifts. I follow his advice to this day. it includes, but is not limited to:
actually show up and don't skip days
make sure your form is good
make sure you are doing progressive overload. for example, when I can do a set of 12, I grab heavier dumbbells
eat more. a pb&j on whole wheat is a great snack. I am someone who has to force themselves to eat, but other people seem to have the opposite problem. to each their own
don't over work yourself. for example, I'll do chest on mondays and thursdays to give myself adequate rest
if you get a trainer, make sure it's a man and that he's strong. if you're a woman get a woman trainer. in sports, sexual segregation makes sense

whey is a byproduct of making cheese. cheese is made by curdling milk and processing the curds. whey is leftover. whey is a source of protein and is animal based. therefore its amino acid profile is much much better aligned for our use than plant based protein. its an excellent supplement but should not be used as a replacement for other sources of protein, carbs, and fat. its a supplement, and probably the second best supplement a lifter can take. I'd wait till you're done with your noob gains, but do whatever your budget allows

In other words, BF is only worth .733 g protein per g product, while MP is worth .876 g protein per g product.
Which means MP gives more protein per gram, by a SIGNIFICANT margin.
MP is still better.
