Leg flexibilty can cause over extension when doing those squats and diddlys.
Like, if you're dead lifting and you're used to pulling your chest up as much as possible you could start extending too far and ending up with the opposite of the worm chad problem.
You just have to be more mindful of your back position if your legs become more flexible.

No it's not. I'm not the same person, I fucked up my lower back doing exactly this and made my anterior tilt worse. It took me a full year to correct it after properly diagnosing it.

Ok so at first your poor flexibility prevents you from arching your back while squating down (hollow back), in other words using poor form or not properly bracing your core. Now you got more flexible so you could manage to get in this specific poor lifting position. Your new flexibility is not the cause of you lifting with poor form now, not properly bracing and straightening your back is the problem.

Why would you want legs like that?

This is ideal.

I would also add a certain excercise on volume quad day to enhance quad growth and squat gains. The eccentric pause squat. 4 to 5 second lowering, pausing for 5 seconds at the bottom then powering up. This will stretch the quads and create some serious time under tension. Only do sets of 2, 3 or 4 as these are tough as shit. Start with 40 percent of your max and creep up the weight weekly as you get better at them.

Zero. He may have some joint troubles from it, but he wasn't big like Coleman to have massive health damage, he never went into megaheavy lifts, and he cycled like motherfucker.

My squat max was 3pl8 atg and i still had pretty much no leg development. Is it possible that i cuck my gains because of squatting atg (semi squat-mornings at 6'6 & 38"+ inseam)
i feel like atg squats have effect on anything else but quads.
Would squatting ~parallel with more upright torso make any sense or should i just ditch squatting and give a chance to legpress & hack squat machine

3pl8 isn't heavy, wouldn't expect much development from that as a 1rm. If you smash your butt off the ground you're probably cucking yourself unless you have some sick mobility. Get hip crease below top of knee and cut them off there.

Squats are great but overrated for leg size. Do more leg presses for sets of 12
