Mexico nor the US are running shit. The obesity rates are exploding because processed and fast food is a multi-trillion dollar global industry.

France has among the lowest obesity rates in the West. I think only the Netherlands and some Scandi countries are lower from the top of my head.

During the 80s and the whole anti-fat fad, this even popularized the idea of "the French Paradox": the fact that the French tend to be slender despite eating a lot of fatty foods. Now we know better: dietary fats =/= bodyfat and fats actually satiate better than carbs.

Though France, like everywhere else in the West, is changing. With the decline of its culture by mass Americanization from the top and mass Arabization from the bottom, obesity rates are climbing.

I don't know many people who actually know how to cook. Some millenial girls around my age know how to cook some deserts and comfort food like casseroles but the inability of the average person to properly cook something as simple as a burger baffles me. My friends put fast food on a pedestal as if it's like the pinnacle of flavor that you just can't get at home, which is not true, they're just lazy and can't cook for shit.
